JAMAICA’S NATIONAL DISH – Ackee and Saltfish
Ackee and Saltfish is Jamaica’s National Dish. It is loved by Jamaicans.
JERK CHICKEN – A Delectable Bite
This is a mouth-watering and savoury Jamaican delight. It is barbecued from a jerk pan.
JERK PORK
Sweet and spicy marinade pork is
finger-licking good. It is prepared by many restaurants and the jerk man on
the corner, especially on weekends.
RICE and PEAS and CHICKEN
This is atraditional dish.
It is a MUST have for Jamaicans on
a Sunday evening.
CURRIED CHICKEN/CURRIED MUTTON
Seasoned with the Jamaican curry powder, this meat is a favourite among Jamaicans. It can be eaten with plain rice, rice and peas or even dumplings.

style is seasoned, fried
and marinated with pepper,
vinegar and onions.
JAMAICAN PATTIES
This is Jamaican’s favourite pastry. It is available in chicken, vegetable,
