A triple-threat fireball of talent who sings, dances and acts; the gorgeous Jaja Couture is in the elite club of the likes of Beyonce' and Mariah
Carey, writing and performing all of her own music. Combining soulful sounds of R&B with contagious Hip-Hop beats, Jaja's latest offering, the
remix of Drake's "Controlla," is on the fast track to become the hit of the summer, while her Drake "Don't" remix by Bryson Tiller, has garnered
tens of thousands of views on Facebook.
Dubbed the 'Princess" of the village of Harlem in New York City, Jaja has been performing since she was a toddler, when she appeared on the
VP Records Caribbean Concert. That night, her astounding show-stopping talent was introduced to the world.
Jaja's position in the lineage of musical royalty was solidified when the 10-year-old rising star performed in the 2011 talent show at the Ella
Baker School, where she killed the competition and brought the house down with her moving rendition of "Forever Young."
As a student at the Special Music High School, Jaja, performs with the SMS Choir,and was chosen in 2015 to sing with Gospel Legend and 2016
BET Award winner Kirk Franklin on ABC's Emmy-winning talk show "The View." She also starred in the SMS production of the famed opera
"Dido and Aeneas," in addition to singing "And I Am Telling You," originated by Tony-award winner Jennifer Holiday in "Dreamgirls" on Broadway.
In July 2016, the 15-year-old phenom slayed all competition at Music mogul Irv Gotti's Talent Show, during a championship basketball game,
commanding the court with her scene-stealing sexy dance moves as she sang hits made famous by Beyonce'.
