Hey Jaguars! Leaving San Diego ten days ago was hard for me. I never thought I would experience this amazing sickness called the PDS! (Post DCON Syndrome) It was my first DCON and I must say, it
was definitely worth the $$!
It is my pleasure to say that I, Cerena Nguyen, will be your new Jade Lieutenant Governor for 2013-2014. As your new LTG, I have many ideas on what I can do to make our division stand out. Please give
me a couple of more weeks to soak everything in and I’ll make sure to be on my work grind! Buckle on your seatbelt because you’re
going to have a wild ride with me!

I am proud of you for bringing home awards you guys truly worked hard for. You deserved it. I know how it feels like to be stressing over awards. If you didn’t get what you wanted, don’t
worry! Just know that you did your best and you worked really hard!
Congratulations to Oakland High for bringing home eight awards! I am so proud of my home club. Congratulations to Maggie & Jenny for getting the distinguished secretarial team award and Mr. Shapiro for getting the Faculty Advisor Hall of Fame award!
I am proud to say that Richmond High School brought home three awards!

CAL-NEV-HA KIWIN’SGlobal Youth Service Day
On April 27th was Global Youth Service Day. To promote GYSD, Jade Division had an inter-club event at the Richmond City Hall. For two hours, we cleaned the pathways, picked up trash, and pulled out weeds. A total of 12 members attended this event. I would like to say thank you to Richmond KIWIN’S for letting Oakland and Hercules HS for participating in
this special event.

KIWIN'S has definitely been the highlight of my whole high school career. I would've never dedicate my time to help out my community, fundraise money for PTP & Project Eliminate, as well as attend DCON. KIWIN'S has made me scream out my heart during spirit battles and "How Do You Feel" chant. My year with KIWIN'S is about to end & I will definitely miss my officers, members, & faculty advisor. KIWIN'S is such an amazing club and a wonderful second family. We have that Ohana spirit whether its within our school club or district. I love KIWIN'S with all my heart and it's definitely something I will miss when I graduate.
Last year I told you that you were my role model. You have achieved so many wonderful things I look up to you. Destiney, you've taught me so much. Goodbye is never Goodbye.Love you Dusty.

KIWIN’S. What would my high school path be like without KIWIN’S? When I first joined KIWIN’S, I thought it was just another other club where I don’t think I would be an active member. After attending the first event, everyone’s enthusiasm changed my thoughts. The connections the members and officers had weren’t just friends, but we had the bond called Ohana. A family. KIWIN’S had given me wonderful memories and experiences from screaming our heart out to cheer and definitely serving for our community. Now that it’s my senior year I will miss every little thing about KIWIN’S “Good bye may seem forever. Farewell is like the end, but in my heart is the memory and there you will always be.”- Walt DisneyI can’t say goodbye KIWIN’S but I will say see you later, because KIWIN’S will always be in my heart.
