I n the book of Habakkuk we
find these words, “Though the fig tree may not
blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills.” Habakkuk 3:17-19. This passage of scripture constantly comes to my mind as I think about our current situation. The times we are living in are unprecedented and they cause many doubts to arise. We must always be aware the world is a temporary place but God is eternal. Recognizing the Lord is our strength gives us something to stand on that will never fail us. He is the God of our salvation and we need not fear.

WAYS YOU CAN STAY CONNECTED
Especially during this time of
social distancing and isolation,
please remember to:
1) Pray for one another
2) Contact your neighbors
and friends to see if they
need anything
3) Contact each other by
phone calls, texts and
emails.
Remember… you are not alone.
We’re all in this together!
Holy Week for us this year will be a different experience for all of us. Unable to come together is difficult to comprehend as we remember and celebrate the path our Lord took to victory over the cross and the grave. At 11:00 o’clock on Easter Sunday morning we will gather in our cars for a drive-in Easter service. It will be a time of togetherness even as we maintain our distance from one another in our cars. I hope you can attend if you feel comfortable doing so. Let us cling to the promises of God and His salvation during these difficult days.
~~ Pastor Tim

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD UPDATE
We may not have collected many TOYS FOR BOYS in March, and it does not seem
like April will be a good time to bring STUFFED ANIMALS However - we can still participate in Operation Christ-mas Child by PRAYING for the boys and girls who recently received shoe-box gifts. They may be participating right now in the study of The Greatest Journey! May God speak to them. May they open their little hearts to His love. May God protect them and bless them.
Much love to each of you, Elf Karen
