This has a wonderful dark depth of colour which can only come from its long ageing. This is typical of an older style Domfrontais perfectly aged. It has a unique sour character adding a lick of astringency which gives a wonderful liveliness to the palate. Clean apple and pear flavours with a thread of blackcurrant dance on the tongue. Very unique indeed.
