This is an example of one of our custom

wiring diagrams.

We use Stainless Steel Heat Shrink Connectors that provide protection from

the elements and corrosion resistance to ensure proper conductivity, due to the

highly corrosive deicing materials used on roads today.

We use Split Loom protective covering on all exposed wires, which protects

wires from getting chaffed or worn.

We always use a rubber or plastic grommet when passing wires through a hole,

to ensure that the wires are not damaged.

When routing wires through wrecker bodies, tool boxes or pylon, we secure in

a metal zip tie rod and zip-tie the wires to the rod every 4 -6 inches to ensure the

wiring is held in place and does not get damaged.

We bring all of the wiring in a truck through a common junction box.

We ground the junction box with a heavy gauge ground wire from the truck

frame. We use star washers to ensure a good metal to metal contact is made on

the ground cable.

We provide you with a color-coded wire diagram of your truck electrical system.

Car carriers have been increasingly popular over the recent years due to the growing number of all

wheel drive vehicles, their versatility to haul varied loads, and the ability to transport multiple vehicles.

The one major drawback has been the lack of recovery capabilities, but that has changed with the SP

8000 Sidepuller. The Sidepuller is available with hydraulic stiff legs and a 9,000 lb. winch that allows

you to perform recovery work from either side of the carrier with minimal lane blockage. The Sidepuller

can also be installed on a light-duty tow truck and for industrial carriers or a heavy duty unit the SP

Sturdy nylon webbing with 15 J-hooks make reaching under the vehicle easy. At 45 degrees the bridle has a 4,200 lb. work load capacity. Nylon V-assemblies will reduce the risk of front end damage. Wt. 15 lbs.

Tubular Sleeve

Corner and strap protectors are a must for all straps that contact loads. A seemingly dull edge can become a knife when the strap is put in tension. Crosby S-253 Sling Saver Shackles

This shackle was designed to be used with continouos loop straps. The knuckles on the bowl of the shackle load the fibers evenly therefore increasing Synthetic Sling efficiency by at least 15%, as compared to standard anchor and chain shackle bowls and conventional hooks. Swaged Wire Rope

Swaged Winch Lines have two primary advantages over conventional wire rope: higher break strength and resistance to crushing. An oversized wire rope is swaged which reduces the voids between the strands. The result is more steel in a given area, which increases the break strength dramatically. These same characteristics allow for more surface contact with winch drums and sheaves which resists in crushing and deformation.
