iVATS Vessel Tracking & Monitoring System (iVTMS) is a products developed by Kemilinks based on the iVATS Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) platform. iVATS LRIT platform is a tested and proven platform that has been deployed to numerous flag states in meeting the mandatory implementation of the IMO V/19-1 regulations. iVTMS is a complete solution for ship owner(s) who need to monitor and track their vessels closely. This portal also conform with IMO SSAS requirements and it serves as a dual purposes portal providing both SSAS alerts as well as monitoring information such as location.

The iVTMS online Portal is a web-based application, which allows owners/managers to be able to view their vessels anywhere as long there is internet connection.

Information displayed include latest position reported with time stamp, optional speed and course and alert if SSAS function is enabled. Reporting interval is based on customer requirement and it can be setup easily using iVTMS portal. iVTMS offers a standard 1-hourly reporting interval. On Demand Poll functionality is also available for customer who need to know the location of vessels “on the spot”. iVTMS also offers a Geofencing functionality to customer who want to be alerted when their vessels deviate from their normal routes.

Satellite Terminals

iVTMS monitors and tracks vessel using various satellite or GSM based devices. Satellite devices allow global monitoring and tracking of vessel while GSM based is applicable to application like river craft that is within GSM network converage. For those customer who has coastal crafts that is within GSM network coverage occasionally, Kemilinks offers a hybrid terminal that switches between satellite mode and GSM mode automatically. iVTMS is compatible with all satellite terminals from Inmarsat, Iridium, Globalstar and Thuraya. For shipowner who already has an Inmarsat C terminal onboard, iVTMS is ideal and offers a cost effective solution to start monitoring and tracking the vessels with no need to invest in hardware.
