Ivan Engler was awarded by Peace Medal of United Nations Organisation. The team of UNPROFOR, in which he was a member, got a collective Nobel Peace Prize in 1988.

• Ivan Engler (* 13. June 1931, Trenčín) is a Slovak-born Austrian surgeon – traumatologist and scientist, author of „Ionised Oxygen Therapy“.

• He´s worked as a chief surgeon in Slovakia and abroad, too. He´s been a chief surgeon in a UN force field hospital in Cyprus.

• In 1980 he founded Ionised Oxygen Therapy. (IO2Th/Engler).

• He developed the device "Oxygen Ion 3000/by Dr.Engler" and "VNS Diagnosis/ by Dr.Engler“- both certificated as the medical equipment.

• A part of his life he´s spent in a town Hnúšťa.

For his 80th birthday in 2011, the University of Salzburg (NAWI) held a celebration in his honor.

In the same year, the German Society of Natural Therapy –ZAEN, appointed him in the same year an honorary member and awarded him with the

Golden Needle.He also was appointed an honorary member by

the German Society for Oncology-DGO.In 2013 he bocame a honorary freeman of town Hnúšťa. He´s been living in Salzburg with his son

Andreas Stephan Martin and doughter Anna Franziska.

In his native town Trenčín was exposed

a memorable board to doctor, scientist and writer prof. MUDr. Ivan Engler, PhD., who took personally attendance at this event on 28. October 2011.

Therapy, which is named by him TIO2 Engler, was established in

1980. Its application is preventive and therapeutic, too. At a present

time, there is approximately thousand of workstations in all over

the world, which use this method. There are only several workstations in Slovakia, one is in Bratislava and

three are in Košice. Due to doctor´s opinion, Ionized

oxygen helps to get physical power better in a higher age.

„I can confirm it myself, says the author of therapy who has already got 29 year old son and 7 year old doughter. „ An old man is able to
