IV Manage Tips 1. All continous IV’s must be scanned into IV manage 2. Dosing Weight is (0) 3. Infusion rate is (1) 4. TPN & Lipids – a warning may happen when scanning – “you have <1cc do you want DC” the correct answer is 5. To enter a bag of fluid when patient coming from OR/ER- go to New IV and select “ordered” fluid and add note. 6. When it does not scan place i red pharmacy bin 7. Only one patient shows in IV Manage 8.
