2015 ITU-R WP5D Meetings

q  2015年1月奧克蘭 #21會議 Ø Above 6GHz 文件修改第四章的架構,把分析結果分成 6-30 GHz, 30-70

GHz, and above 70 GHz 等三個頻率範圍來描述。 Ø 工研院提出一份Liaison Statement,說明台灣mmWave 研發現況 Ø WP5D 收到IEEE 802轉達工研院申請成為WirelessMAN-Advanced轉化組織的文件

Ø 對於下世代IMT系統得名稱,在本次會期限縮選項為兩個候選名稱,分別是”IMT-2020”與”IMT-2020 Connect”

q  2015年6月聖地牙哥#22會議 Ø  ITU-T 2020 Focus Group報告成立後第一次會議,目的針對IMT-2020新型網路架構發展交換意見並凝聚共識,並與ITU-R WP5D偕同發展5G 有線及無線網路系統

Ø 工研院提出一份Liaison Statement,說明台灣5G發展現況,以及成立TAICS資通標準發展協會

Ø 確認下一世代IMT系統之正式名稱為”IMT-2020” Ø 完成ITU-R M.[IMT.BEYOND2020.TRAFFIC]、ITU-R M.[IMT.ABOVE

Resolution ITU-R 57-1

Principles  for  the  process  of  development  of  IMT‑Advanced  • Deliverables: develop Recommendations and Reports for IMT, including Recommendation(s) for radio interface specifications

• Timeframe: it shall be an on-going and timely process with defined outputs that take into account developments external to ITU‑R

• Participation: that radio interface technologies (RITs) shall be developed based on submissions from ITU-R Membership, and may additionally be based on submissions invited from external organizations

• Equitability: the process shall give equal opportunity to all proposed technologies to be evaluated against the requirements for IMT

• Maintenance: that new radio interfaces that are developed over time should be considered for inclusion in IMT in a timely fashion
