An interactive online learning space, itslearning helps you and your students

manage the learning process. It enables you to create multimedia resources that

your students find motivating and challenging – and lets your students work with

them at any time, anywhere.

itslearning also makes it easy to share resources, lesson plans, news and more with colleagues, students

and parents. As a result, everyone has the information they need when they need it and you have less

paperwork piling up on your desk. And, because itslearning automates many routine tasks you do every

day, such as grade reporting and setting and collecting assignments, you have more time to focus on

what you love: teaching.

The art of teaching

At itslearning, we believe that teaching is an art and every teacher has their own teaching style. But we

also know that the teaching process has a number of set steps, from planning and delivering classes to

assessing and reporting student progress. We’ve designed itslearning to make these steps easier. Whether

you want to link an activity in your lesson plan to a learning objective or set a digital test that gives your

students immediate feedback, itslearning is there to help.

Individualised instruction

itslearning makes it possible for you to provide an individual education for everyone in your classes.

Individual status reports give you an overview of each student’s progress so you can see where they

need extra help. You can use Individual Learning Plans to set clear goals for each student, and use

itslearning’s differentiation tools to ensure every activity matches each student’s level.

Getting creative with video

itslearning gives your students plenty of opportunities

to express their creativity. When one teacher at

Barnsley Academy in the UK, for example, asked his

students to use a stop-motion animation tool inside

itslearning to show how cells split and multiply, he

was amazed at the response.

“It was incredibly popular. We

took time-lapse photography of

plasticine models and I had students

producing 140-frame videos in an

hour. They were so motivated that

they used up some of their lunch

hour to email them to me.”

Nic Atkinson

Director of Science, Barnsley Academy, UK

With itslearning, you can create online activities that encourage your students

to explore, learn, share and express themselves using the creative

digital tools they love. All this in a safe, school-controlled

educational setting.

You can encourage your students to get creative with in-built video

recorders, blogs and shared project spaces, and inspire them with online

films, discussions forums, polls and surveys. If you want to do more,

the App Library contains a wide selection of educational apps, games

and resources from suppliers such as Britannica Online, J2Simple and

Bridgeman Education.

With itslearning, sharing lesson plans, resources and student information with

other teachers and department heads has never been easier.

itslearning gathers progress reports, Individual Learning Plans and other information about each

student from every class teacher, so mentors and tutors get a clear overview of each student’s overall

progress. Teachers can also see and share lesson plans, including connected resources, making it simpler

to step in if another teacher is away. And most of the digital resources you create, such as tests and

subject resource pages, can be shared with your colleagues with one click.

Giving you more time to do what you love

Using itslearning’s automatic tools is simple. When you create a test in

itslearning, for example, your students will be automatically notified of the

task and the deadline. You can decide whether to mark the tests yourself, or

to have itslearning mark them automatically. After the test, the grades are

automatically imported into the students’ grade books and made available

to you or others in just a few clicks. And, because all reports are updated

automatically as soon as you make a change, you know everyone always has

the information they need - when they need it.

As a cloud-based learning platform,

itslearning is fast to set-up, simple to

maintain and inexpensive to run – so

you can focus your time and resources

on other things.

With itslearning, there are no servers to buy or

software to install on local computers because

everything is hosted in the cloud. When you

start with itslearning, we help you set up your

individual user accounts and any integrations

you require. Your teachers and students can then

log-on using a secure username and password

and start working.

It’s that easy.

We even look after the system for you – including

system upgrades, data storage and system

security. We guarantee 99.7% uptime, so you

know the platform will be working when you

and your teachers need it, and offer full support if

you experience any problems.

If you can send an email…

School IT managers around the world say the

same things about itslearning. Because the

platform is so easy to use, students can find their

way around the system with little instruction

and teachers can focus on how to teach with the

platform, not the technicalities.

“With itslearning, I can focus

more on creating good courses

and the pedagogy, instead of

the technical aspects. That’s

what’s important – how do I use

the platform to teach and not

how do I upload a file onto the

platform.”

Filip Levälahti

E-learning coordinator, Arcada

University of Applied Sciences, Finland
