Throughout the day, you can choose custom workshops
led by sixteen different speakers whose focus is on topics
like health and wellness, entrepreneurship, spirituality and
education. Our speakers include Patti Everitt who will be
speaking on balancing work and motherhood, character
building, raising daughters to be confi dent and boys to

time-friendly manner to afford you the opportunity to visit
all the vendors and attend the breakout sessions.

Sarah Penrod exploded onto the culinary scene with the
newspaper headline “Dallas-Born Chef Pretty Much Runs
First Episode of Food Network Star”, just hours after the
first show premiered. But she was making waves in the
food world long before that.
After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Scottsdale in
2009, she began building her nutritionally driven
private chef company and was heralded as an up-and-
comer by industry pros for the remarkable growth and
achievements her company garnered in it’s first year of
business. Sarah, a lifelong Texan, relocated to League City
in 2013, after several years of being a personal chef and
caterer to San Antonio Spur’s point guard Tony Parker and
his ex-wife, actress Eva Longoria.
She was nominated for personal chef of the year by the
United States Personal Chef Association, which caught
the attention of Washington. Sarah was invited to attend
the launch of the Chefs Move to Schools Initiative,
spearheaded by Michelle Obama and telecast throughout
the country from the vegetable garden of the White
House. Sarah subsequently began appearing as a “spokes
chef” for children’s nutrition issues on morning shows and
news stations throughout Texas.
As a mother of two little boys, and a bible student at
Moody Bible Institute, she stresses the importance of
balancing purpose, faith, and family in every woman’s life
and points to her relationship with God as the driving
force behind the extraordinary growth in her career.
SARAH PENRODBreakfast Keynote Speaker
Lisa Whelchel was born on May 29 in Littlefield, Texas.
At age 13, her first professional acting experience was
as a Mouseketeer for Walt Disney’s “The New Mickey
Mouse Club.” Ms. Whelchel is perhaps best known for her
starring role as Blair Warner on NBC’s “The Facts of Life”
for nine years.
Her first book, “Creative Correction” released October
2000 and has sold over 200,000 copies. She went on to
write over a dozen more books including, “The Facts
of Life and Other Lessons My Father Taught Me,” “The
ADVENTure of Christmas,” “The Busy Mom’s Guide”
Series, and her most recent, “Friendship For Grownups.”
With a goal to refresh and equip other mothers, she is
the founder of MomTime Ministries and “Personal Mom
Coaching.”
Ms. Whelchel is also an international speaker and has
toured with “Women of Faith,” “Extraordinary Women”
and “Women of Joy.”

She understands the need
for health, confidence
and a general well-being.
These things, finely
tuned, work together to
bring out the awesome
potential of each and
everyone of us. But
Rebecca knows that to
achieve that potential, you
must start with ACTION!
Her desire is to help
people take that action –
to be “Improved Thru Action!”
Rebecca’s deep rooted passion for God, health, wellness,
confidence and a can-do-attitude is her premise. Her
entrepreneurial spirit understands what it takes to excel and
wants others to understand that, as well.
While it has not come easily to her, Rebecca has recognized
her own strength and potential with every challenge that
has been brought to her whether it be overcoming a severe
car accident and learning how to walk again, starting a
successful all-natural skin care company in her kitchen, or
simply raising her children. Her true desire is to help others
see they too, can achieve great things.
ABOUT HER CLASS
Take Action Toward Awesome: Living
Health (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) is
important; WITHOUT IT, WE CAN DO VERY LITTLE. But
with it, with God, and with an active determination, we
can reach the stars. They key to recognize is that none of it
will happen by accident. It will not happen merely because
you want it to happen. It requires action – You Can Be
Improved Thru Action. How balanced are you? What is it
that you desire? What is it that you need to improve?
We must live in a constant state of active expectancy, leaving
room for God to come is as He decides. Do not despise the
day of small thing; He builds greatness from dust. For our
excellence is a mindset composed of faith, character and a
willingness to focus on the accomplishments God has laid
out for each of us individually.
But, there always has to be that first step. Let’s determine
what that first step is and get you on the road to living a
healthy, prosperous, God-serving life, making a positive
difference – everyday. That’s Awesome Living!
