ITPa looza 2015Thank you for joining us todayITPalooza has several changes this year.ITPalooza ’15 is being brought to you by the South Florida Technology Alliance (SFTA) and I have the honor of leading the 2015 committee. Now in our 4th year, the core team of 10 volunteers, each leading an essential function, has been working since Q1 to ensure this year’s event continues the trend of being more successful than the last.
With 8 topic tracks (IoT, Security, DevOps and Agile to name a few) and 4 time slots per track. In addition to our speaking tracks, returning this year:• Expo with over 60 companies, sponsors and tech groups• CIO Council’s December meeting, by invitation only• Microsoft Technology Associates certification• Hack-a-thon, powered by ATT, starts Friday evening and ends Saturday evening• Hiring fair with over 20 tech companies with slots to fill• Pre-Event conference on 12/2 for the MSBISF - Microsoft Business Intelligence South Florida• Post party & VIP access. Sadly, the band is not returning this year but have no fear, our DJ will keep the party hopping…. Learn. Connect. Grow. This SFTA motto certainly applies to ITPalooza and when you join us on 12/3/15 at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Engineering and Computing, you’ll find out why. A day of learning and an evening of networking and fun, all for the price of Toys for Tots. You can find all the information atwww.itpalooza.org.
Rick Sebaly / ITPalooza President / Vice President - SFTA
Tech is evolving at an accelerating pace. Our South Florida tech industry and startup movement enjoyed another year of exciting growth. Salaries and hourly rates are at all time highs, and with Googlish investments and acquisitions, maybe next year we’ll even have our own unicorn.
ITPalooza was born of tech excitement on 12/12/12, and the energy intensifies each year. After three years of focus, it is an honor to pass leadership of ITPalooza to the incoming President of the South Florida Technology Alliance, Mr. Rick Sebaly.
These are the good times my friends, let’s enjoy our successes this night!
