• Guests will arrive at the airport of Tunis/Carthage, and be welcomed by our friendly

representative. • Transfer to the hotel in Tunis or Gammarth (as per their booking) and installation.

• Dinner and accommodation.

• After breakfast, there is a wonderful opportunity to explore Carthage (UNESCO World

Heritage Site), the capital of ancient Carthaginian Empire. As well as a visit to Byrsa Hill to

see the ruins of Roman buildings and Carthage Museum. A wonderful chance to tee the Tophet,

where urns, containing the ashes and milk teeth of 8th century BC children, have been

unearthed. Guests will also visit Antonine Baths, a huge Roman bath complex on the edge of

the Mediterranean, then, visit the theatre and Punic Port.

• Continuing on to Sidi Bou Said to stroll through the narrow streets. This picturesque small

town bordered by white-washed houses iconic blue shutters and doors, guests will also have the

opportunity to check out the various art galleries and try some mint tea in one of the traditional

street cafes while enjoying the superb view of the gulf of Tunisia.

• Guests will also enjoy a visit to LA GOULETTE and its Synagogue. In the last century, the

Jewish community adored the city of La Goulette, and a large part of its inhabitants was

Tunisian-Jewish.

• Then departing to visit Bardo Museum, one of the best archaeological museums in the

Mediterranean, which is especially well-known for its beautiful collection of mosaics. The

museum is located in an old palace that belongs to the Beys (rulers of Tunisia).

• A visit to the Great Synagogue of Tunis and Tunis Medina guests will see the “old Tunisia”

which includes the Medina, the ‘European’ quarter built at the beginning of the 20th century

and the new modern suburbs. For more than 500 years, the Medina has been the historic heart

of Tunis and UNESCO has classified it as a World Heritage Site due its fascinating and exotic

maze of streets.

• Upon returning to the hotel, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing and delightful

dinner.

• After breakfast, guests will depart to Testour to visit the house of culture “Habiba Msika”:

Marguerite Messika, born in 1893 in the Israeli distric of Tunis.

• Then continuing the journey on to Hammamet, to visit the Spanish Fortress and its medina.

• Check-in in the hotel in Hammamet, for dinner and accommodation.

• Breakfast, and departure to Nabeul: the first seaside resort in Tunisia, well known for being

the handicrafts center most famous for pottery, distilled water from orange flowers, its roses

and jasmine plants. The Jewish community of Nabeul was particularly unique, its elite was

made up of highly-educated Jews from Djerba and Tunis, who generally worked as successful

traders and skilled artisans.

• Following on to El Jem, enthralled by one of the world’s largest and most spectacular Roman

Amphitheatre. Built in 238 AD, the Amphitheatre can hold up to 35,000 spectators. This

monument illustrates the grandeur and extent of the Roman Empire. Nearby is the museum of

El Jem, which houses glorious mosaics and the remains of some recently excavated luxury

villas.

• Continuation to Sfax, where guests will check-in, dine and accommodation.

Thursday 29th April - arrival flight to guests coming to Djerba for 5 day trip only. Guests will be

transported to Raddison Blue Hotel.

• Breakfast and a visit to the synagogue of sfax (The Azria Synagogue, named after Shlomo

Armon ben Mahlouf Azria, it was built in the new city after WWII).

• Continuing on to El Hamma, which is well known as a holy city to the jews of north Africa

because of the grave of rabbi Yosef el Marab called by the Jews of Tunisia “ AL SAID “ (the

master).

• Then departing to Djerba, where guests will check-in at the hotel for accommodation and to

dine.

• After breakfast, visit of Djerba island: Guellala, Houmt-Souk (Houmt El Souk meaning:

"The Market neighborhood", is a commune and the main town of the island of Djerba. It is

best known for its traditional souk (market) and the Aghlabid fortress.

• Then, a visit to the synagogue of Ghriba, a popular pilgrimage site to this day. Each year

on Lag Ba'omer a Ziara (festival) takes place, in which thousands of Jews and non-Jews

participate.

• Later then returning to the hotel, where guests can enjoy a free afternoon, dinner KOSHER

and accommodation.

• After breakfast, guests will proceed to Matmata and explore its famous troglodytes,

underground houses built to protect the Berbers from the intense heat in the summer.

• Visit of the berber Museum in Tamezret and discover the Amazigh history.

• Then continuing to Douz : “OPTIONAL AND PAID BY THE CLIENT”: guests will have the

opportunity to experience riding a camel in the heart of the Sahara desert.

• Later to travel to Tozeur, Installation in hotel, dinner and accommodation.

• After breakfast, guests will depart in 4X4(s) to visit the Mountain oasis of Chebika / Tamerza

/ Midès. Chebika; was known as the castle of the sun. guests will then continue their journey

by visiting Tamerza the largest mountain oases of Tunisia, visit of the palm grove, the water-

fall, stop by an old village and we will also visit Midès (the most attractive of the Tunisian’s

mountain oases with a string of gorges stretching over 3 km), and visit the canyons.

• Next, guests will take the road to Gafsa, for a short break.

• Then Depart to Kairouan, installation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

• After breakfast, guests will checkout and explore Kairouan, the city that rises like a dream of

ochre and tawny beige, bearing in its serenity 13 centuries of Islamic culture. Visit of the Great

Mosque of Uqba Bin Nafi, an important Islamic landmark and architecture that was built in

the 9th century.

• Next, guests will continue to Monastir, retaining its 9th-century ribat and great Mosque. The

imposing Ribat dominates both the harbor and the town. Additions and renovations over the

centuries have created a complex of crenellated walls and turrets, with open courtyards and

Spartan cells.

• Guests will also visit the Bourguiba’s Mausoleum; this monument honors the memory of the

first president of independent Tunisia, native of Monastir. The Bourguiba family’s mausoleum

is another impressive monument with its golden dome and two refined minarets.

• After visiting Sousse city. The Medina of Sousse is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites

in Tunisia. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the ramparts, walls that enclose certain

part of the city and the 13th-century Ribath, an ancient rest stop for travelers, and visit Port

El Kantaoui.

• Later departing to Tunis, where they will checkin in the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

• After breakfast at hotel guests will be transfered to Tunis airport for return flights home.
