Registry PMO Staff
• Meets with Government and Industry user groups twice per year to discuss potential System Change Requests– new requirements and enhancements
• Facilitates the Operational Requirements Committee (ORC) which approves and prioritizes System Change Requests
• Receives new Requirements from OSD• Develops functionality that meets the Requirements.• Tests the code to ensure the Requirements are met.• Provide second and third tier customer service to users,
including data quality and corrections• Respond to data calls
7
Changes to the IUID Registry
• New requirements for the IUID Registry are primarily collected by three methods
• OSD AT&L Policy; drives updates to the Registry in order to comply with directives
• Government Working Group; Formal meetings twice a year to directly address the Registry development team and Managers to request additions or changes to the Registry
• Industry Working Group; Formal meetings twice a year to directly address the Registry development team and Managers to request additions or changes to the Registry
• Proposed change requests are vetted by the Operational Requirements Committee (ORC) for inclusion or disapproval

Access to the IUID Registry Website
The access granted to the user determines the data and functionality available to that user.
•Contractor: • Add new IUID records that have been produced under contracts assigned to your
CAGE/DUNS.
• Update / Correct existing IUID records that are currently in your Custody.
• Query IUID records that you have entered, or are under contracts assigned to your CAGE/DUNS, or are currently in your Custody.
• CAGE/DUNS, or are currently in your Custody.
•Legacy:• Add new IUID records
• Update existing IUID records.
• Correct existing IUID records and sub records that have been entered by your organization and are less than 30 days old.
• Query IUID records.
• Run GFP Reports for IUID records.
•Inquiry and DCMA:
• Query IUID records 12

Government Furnished Property (GFP)
16
Government Furnished Property (GFP)
• There is a requirement to reconcile the Government Furnished Property (GFP) on Department of Defense (DoD) contracts
• To accomplish this, it is necessary to capture data on government equipment and supplies as they are sent to the contractor and allow creation of summary reports of current GFP on hand
17
GFP Data
• DoD systems have progressed to the point that access to GFP data is becoming more feasible
• Combining information from multiple systems and disciplines allows the DoD to have a much better picture of the quantities, location and costs of GFP
18
• A full accounting of GFP requires combining information from the Acquisition, Financial, and Logistics communities to give a complete and accurate picture of Government Furnished Property

The Tri-Domain
19
Government Furnished Property
• For GFP that requires a Unique Item Identifier (UII), this function is performed by the IUID Registry
• To fully account for all GFP in the possession of contractors, a similar capability is required for GFP that will not have, or that does yet have a UII assigned (Non-UII GFP)
20
Non-UII GFP Data
• An adjunct capability to the DoD IUID Registry was needed for tracking Non-UII GFP items
•Commonly managed by their National Stock Number (NSN)
21
GFP HUB
The GFP Hub is a pilot project designed to access, store and provide metrics on Non-UII GFP data
The GFP HUB is located within the same environment as the IUID Registry
IUID Registry + GFP HUB = Full visibility of GFP for the DoD
22
GFP HUB
• Baseline functionality was designed that would provide the capability to capture and store Non-UII transactional data
• The infrastructure was developed, tested and is currently functional in the IUID Registry environment
• HUB development will continue to be undertaken in collaboration and coordination with government agencies and stakeholders that have a need to efficiently provide and leverage the Non-UII GFP item data
