BIG-GAME HUNTERS:Most elk, deer, pronghorn and bear licenses not issued through the primary draw are now available in a NEW secondary draw that is open to anyone, whether you applied for the primary draw or not. There will no longer be a leftover draw; the secondary draw replaces the leftover draw. It’s your chance to get licenses remaining from the primary draw without having to wait until leftover day!

Some things to remember about the new secondary draw:■ You must have a qualifying license to apply for the secondary draw.■ The $7 resident and $9 nonresident application fees apply.■ The secondary draw does not use preference points, and you cannot apply for

preference points.■ Applications are for individuals only, not groups.■ Youth receive preference for all hunt codes in the secondary draw.

Other license options:▶ The secondary draw is a great way to get licenses remaining from the primary

draw without having to wait to get your license over the counter. If you’d rather not participate in the secondary draw, you still have other options to get a license:■ Wait for leftover day: Limited licenses that were not issued in the primary or

secondary draws will be made available on leftover day, Aug. 4, starting at 9 a.m. MT.■ Keep checking the leftover list, which will be available in late July. Additional

reissued licenses that are not on the initial list will be added randomly starting on Aug. 11.

■ Buy an over-the-counter (OTC) license: These licenses go on sale Aug. 6, starting at 9 a.m. MT.

top of your account home page.D. SELECT RESIDENCY and click PROCEED.E. Be sure you have your QUALIFYING LICENSE before you begin your application.F. SELECT the species you want to apply for (deer, elk, pronghorn and bear), then click the APPLY NOW button in the dropdown menu.G. FILL OUT the application with your hunt code selections (enter up to four choices

per species) and hit SUBMIT.■ Application fees will be charged at this time.■ Successful applicants will have the credit card they have on file in their

account charged after the draw. The payment deadline is July 29, 2020.■ NOTE: Do NOT buy another license or redeem a voucher for the same species

until after you receive the results of your secondary draw application.
