To us, design is not just a matter of taste;it is an attitude with passion. Which is why we continue to recive the international recog-nition from lighting designers and architects.
Design is never an end in itself, but is always the expression of equality between form and function. In the search for the most intelligent solutions, we create lighting products of an exceptional quality that will provide lasting impression.

Individuality means finding the right balancebetween the functionality and appearance that fits perfectly in your environment. However, it is the right choice of form that makes the very most of your decision. For instance, would you prefer pendant or side mounted fixture? We test our fixtures thoroughly in the AEC test center in combination with various brack-ets to make sure they all function perfectly. This gives you the security of knowing you can rely on our recommendations to provide you with right choice of pole, arm and fixture.
Wonderful spaces can be created in any environment. It is up to you if these are made.

ITALO is particularly notable for its pure, fresh appearance and elegant lines. The form allows the contrasts of round curves and flat edges to merge and perfectly blendin elegant harmony. The sculptured look ofthe fixture adds a very special touch to thethe enviroment.
This style speaks a clear, distinct language. There is no room here for the superfluous, for overstatement or exaggeration. Theunderstatement of the ITALO lines provides maximum scope for use. And thanks to their varying sizes, they will meet all your require-ments.

LED LIGHTINGmodel Italo98
In times predominated by a striving for “more, faster, brighter, louder”, when experience is measured in terms of quantity rather than quality, it is good to witness a design which triumphs through on the strength of pure clar-ity and newest technological advances. Italo uncompromisingly shuns everything which is superfluous to requirements, drawing its in-spiration from the flowless leafs. A restrained approach provides for expansive results.

ITALO SERIES
Italo is the result of an exploration into the simplification of forms, thought out in terms of maximum clarity. The design is reduced almost to pure sym-bol, where the aesthetic quality of materials are emphasised.
The radiator cover becomes the reminiscent of the forms found on site furniture objects.

Luminous flux regulation using PLC (pow-er line communication).Light reduction can be associated with punctual and remote monitoring of the individual device via the power line com-munication remote control. This option, used in conjunction with an LCU (Light Control Unit), makes it possible to control an individual lighting point, allowing the creation of customised lighting scenarios. More complex remote control panels can be used as part of a wireless or GSM/GPRS network, to remotely monitor the energy consumption of the system and provide fault indications as necessary without the need for on-site maintenanceprocedures.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERVOLTAGE
A lighting device installed in a standard electrical system may be subjected to volt-age fluctuations and external disturbances due to different factors such as discontin-uous loads on the line, faults on the lines (upstream or downstream) and atmospher-ic electrical discharges (in outdoor installa-tions). In those LED installations where the electronic components are predominant, an adequate resistance to surges is synon-ymous with reliability and proper function-ality.Thanks to the research and the experimen-tation performed at our own laboratories, AEC offers its customers customized solu-tions according to every specific installa-tion.
CLASS I: protection up to 10kV.CLASS II: protection from 5kV up to 9kV.
For more information about the protection against overvoltage, please contact us or our local representative.

Aluminum, like many non-ferrous and plas-tic substrates, requires a mild microscopic surface etch prior to coating to promote im-proved adhesion. This can be accomplished simply and safely, with the right chemistry additives in your pretreatment chemistry. The industry standard chemistries used to micro-scopically etch aluminum have been primari-ly acids such as Phosphoric, Sulfuric or Chro-mic acids, many times used in combination, somewhere in the pretreatment process with a fluoride containing additive to promote the etch. AEC uses the highest standard chemi-cals enviro-friendly to achieve the best pos-sible results.
The Seal is many times the last process ap-plied prior to a low conductivity, Deionized, Distilled or Reverse Osmosis conditioned wa-ter rinse. The purpose of the Seal process is to completely passivate and seal any micro-scopic voids on the surface from the environ-ment prior to coating. This helps to addition-ally improve adhesion and inhibit corrosion. The Seal process can be accomplished in many ways with today’s technological ad-vancements. In some of the latest pretreat-ment technologies, the seal and passivation steps are accomplished in a single step during the conversion coating application process. Tri-valent chrome (which is thought to be a safe alternative to the hexavalent chrome), non-chromic seal such as molybdate and other organic, inorganic and nano-polymer products are used depending on an applica-tion.
