ITAB Sintek AB's medicine room - a safe, functional solution

ITAB Sintek AB's system focuses just as much on ergonomics as on the safehandling of medicines.

Clear edge markings help you to find what you want.

ITAB Sintek AB is a Swedish-owned company with operations all over the world. Our core business is helping pharmacies and hospitals with the storage and handling of medicines. We do this by offering unique systems of fixtures and fittings de-veloped in close collaboration with end users.

Safety firstITAB Sintek AB's systems of fixtures and fittings are carefully developed and tried and tested. The sloping shelves are designed to give you a good overview and allow for the quick, safe handling of medicines. They are filled from the back, which guarantees the right order of use: "first in, first out".

Up to 50 per cent more floor spaceITAB Sintek AB's systems offer ex-tremely compact storage, with room for a lot of medicine in a small space. This means that you can release up to 50 per cent more floor space com-pared with other solutions.

A more comfortable working environmentEach solution is designed with consider- ation given to those who work in the medicine room. Systems are being continuously developed with a view to offering secure handling of medicines and a comfortable, ergonomic workplace.

Flexible and movableITAB Sintek AB's system of fixtures and fittings is a solution that is economic in the long term. The fittings are built up using free-standing modules. They can therefore be easily rebuilt, reused and supplemented as needs change. Even existing fittings such as fixed benches, etc. can be supplemented with ITAB Sintek AB's products.

steps to a complete medicine room

The purpose of this document is to provide you with a good plan-ning tool and help along the way to create an effective workplace for handling medicines. It is aimed at nurses, dental nurses, architects and purchasing managers who are in the process of furnishing a medi-cine room in a hospital, a health centre, a dental practice, a home for the elderly, etc.

Before you start planning your medi-cine room, there are a number of ques-tions you need to give some thought to.

Which solution should you choose? Start with the analysis of needs and the space you have available.

Plan and choose the fittings. Open or closed solution. Choose ready-made modules or create your own.

You will have a two-dimensional and a three-dimensional drawing and a quo-tation to study before you place your order.

Assemble yourself or order help with assembly.

3. FLOOR PLAN

A. Measure your medicine room and produce a floor planUse the attached squared paper and the modules on the attached module sheet when planning your medicine room. Feel free to take several copies of the squared paper and module sheet. Use the squared paper to produce a floor plan of the medicine room.

This is what you do:

A suggestion to think aboutOn the basis of your floor plan, we produce a proposal in the form of a two-dimensional and a three-dimensional drawing of your medicine room. Here you can see all modules and units in position in the medicine room.

Together with these drawings, you receive a quotation.

Once you have thought about the proposal and, if nec-essary, made certain additions, you place your order. You contact us at ITAB Sintek AB and we run through the order together. We agree on a delivery date.
