It is hard to believe that the hot days of summer are now behind us and everyone is fully into the fall routine. I

want to take this time to let you know what is happening in our region and let you celebrate what God has been doing in church planting across Ontario. Our

prayer is that you will take these updates and pray regularly for the church planters and the people they are

reaching. They have stepped out in faith onto the front lines of missions work here in Ontario and Quebec and they need your support and prayers. Pray

also for more church planters for the many communities without that gospel witness. “The harvest is

plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Luke 10:1-3

London & District Association

Jason & Melissa Hutchins have moved into the Glen Cairn Area of London to plant a new church in the neighbourhood of what

used to be Victory Heights Baptist Church. They are gathering a team to reach this community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jason & Melissa are in the

fundraising phase, so please support them with your prayers and financial gifts.

Church of the Ward, GuelphPresently, Church of the Ward is in CORE

building stage with 15 adults and 11 kids. Two of the families represented in that number are still looking for homes in the

neighborhood and our prayer is that they would move in by Christmas. In October, we plan on having two homes host a Potluck & Prayer night. We will share a

meal together and then ask if our neighbors have anything we can be praying about. Each day at 6:15am our CORE

members meet and walk our streets praying for the needs brought forth at Potluck & Prayer. We believe that in

order for a move of God to happen we need to seek God and take seriously our call to prayer.

Marc is currently on staff at Emmanuel

Baptist Church Chatham, where the church has agreed to step out in faith and release Marc to plant another church in

Chatham. They are just beginning this journey so please pray that God will give them wisdom to reach their community

and provide the resources to see it happen.

Update from Dan:We are coming up on our 3rd birthday and we're in the midst of change. Unlike most church plants we've had a facility

that is ours 24/7 for the past 3 years. This is a blessing and a curse! As a blessing we have a great identity in the community, a facility to use anytime we want and to

decorate and setup however we want. It is a curse because it is too easy to fall into routine when you have comfort.

Cobblestone Church in ParisCobblestone Church has been having public services for almost a year (they held the first public service last

November). This past summer, the school was unavailable to rent, so they met in the park. Many new people from the community stopped in to join them and

some have continued to come. The GO MAD Team from Lindsay over the summer was a huge blessing. They came and put

on a fantastic VBS Program that was able to reach new families in the community as well as complete some practical service

projects.

Darryl & Charlene Dash and their family have moved into a condo in the Liberty Village neighbourhood. They have been gathering a team of committed individuals who are passionate about reaching this community in Toronto. They have recently been joined by another family moving in to Liberty Village to help them, Nathan and Sarah Fullerton and family. Nathan is participating in the church planting apprenticeship program with FEB Central and Darryl will be mentoring him. They are set to launch the public meetings on September 28th.

An Update from Church by the Canal:

As of this past July we began meeting for worship on Saturday nights. Due to high rental costs and needing a consistent place to meet, a local church in Thorold has opened their doors for us to use their building.    We have been able to purchase a 12 passenger van with the help of individuals and churches that will be used to pick up university students from Brock. We are planning a Trick or Trunk Halloween event on October 31st, that will give children and families a safe place to get candy from the trunks of our vehicles. A fun night in the park will also highlight this night.

Update from Frank & ReldaWe are hoping to begin "A Stranger on the Road to Emmaus" for new believers and older teens. We had the joy of

baptizing a woman this past summer! Our VBS was phenonemal this summer with 67 kids coming through our doors! We

would like prayer for the little lives that were impacted and the families that this represents.

Update from Ian:We're now meeting at Lake Avenue Public School in the heart of Riverdale, Hamilton.  Continuing to serve our neighbourhood through a Food Delivery ministry, Youth Games Night, and Community Events.  Riverdale has Hamilton's highest population of recent immigrants, mostly from India, Pakistan, and the Arab-speaking world.  We've been challenged to pray regularly for families we know, find ways to care for people, and speak about Jesus openly.

Celebrating One Year!

The Family Christian Church will be celebrating its One Year Anniversary on October 20, 2013. Our guest speaker will

be Rev. Tom Haines (FEB Church Planting Director). By the grace of God, our attendance has almost doubled since God allowed us to start this ministry. We

encourage each one of our people to invite relatives, friends, and co-workers to our church services and activities and we

have extended the use of our venue for special occasions geared to new contacts.

EVERY GREAT MOVEMENT OF GOD CAN BE TRACED TO A KNEELING FIGURE - D. L. MOODY

Cowansville Community Baptist Church is an English Church Plant in a French Community where people who speak English are the minority. They are seeing God do some amazing things in drawing people to Himself. They have recently added Paul Kok and his wife to their team and are really appreciating the added ministry partnership. Paul is from Guelph, Ontario, and his wife is from Cameroon, Africa. They have had a good summer with many opportunities for evangelism. A team from JBEQ joined them in June for door-to-door evangelism, a Breakfast of Hope, and a garage sale.

Forward Church, Huron Park meeting in KitchenerThis is a fast, growing neighbourhood and God is really pulling together a great

group of people here. Many seekers from the community are attending and finding a place to belong and a place to be

confronted with the claims of Jesus Christ.

Forward Church Huron Park, along with Forward Church Willow, are new church plant

satellite sites of Forward Church South Cambridge.

Eight Baptisms this past summer to celebrate!

We were excited to baptize a woman who accepted Christ in a cafe on Wednesday and was baptized the very next Sunday. It felt

like the early church! We are currently in the middle of our fall kick-off as we have a booth at our community fall fair and begin a junior high sports night in the next few

weeks. We are looking forward to the opportunities to share Christ as we serve the existing community programs in the

Willow Neighbourhood.

Chin Baptist Church

Most people do not realize that Chin

Baptist Church is not Chinese. It is actually comprised of the Chin People from Myanmar. Chin Baptist Church was established in 2007 with a small group of

Chin believers and in 2012, they purchased a church building at 570 Stirling Ave. S., Kitchener. They have been growing day by

day both spiritually and physically and praise God that they now have more than 150 people including children.
