What is a Free Zone?ISBI Istanbul Ataturk Airport Free Zone is;

a governmentally designated area founded to promote export-oriented investment and production, to accelerate foreign direct investment and technology access and to develop international trade,

legally deemed to be outside of customs territory of Republic of Turkey,

a fenced-in area where normal trade barriers and regulatoryrequirements do not apply with the goal of facilitating trade and commerce,
