What is a Free Zone?ISBI Istanbul Ataturk Airport Free Zone is;
a governmentally designated area founded to promote export-oriented investment and production, to accelerate foreign direct investment and technology access and to develop international trade,
legally deemed to be outside of customs territory of Republic of Turkey,
a fenced-in area where normal trade barriers and regulatoryrequirements do not apply with the goal of facilitating trade and commerce,
an area which presents various industrial and commercial incentives and business-friendly regulations.

Companies in ISBI are free to perform the following activities as well: packing, repacking, marking, labelling, exhibition of the goods.
Production Licence (valid for 20 years)
Purchasing-Selling Licence (valid for 15 years)
Assembling – Disassembling Licence (valid for 15 years)
Other Licence (valid for 15 years)
