FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Over the past weeks teachers have selected artwork from each class to be

Art Gallery. Congratulations to the following students who had their art
selected: Thomas, Lexie, Bailey, Mayah, Molly, Bellatrix, Eliza, Xavier,
Jophiel, Kayelee, Leeland, Lillien K, Raphael, Monique, Christopher, Tace,
Aaron, Matthew, Shanna, Lucy, Sarah and Rachael.
We had a fantastic response to the uniform survey and the results are
currently being collated. Thank you to everyone who completed the
survey, viewed the samples and gave us verbal feedback. We look forward
to publishing the results in the next few weeks—watch this space!
Ms Stewart has organized some exciting activities to celebrate Book Week
next week. Yesterday Mrs Cath Kilner visited from Scottsdale LINC to share
activities based on the book ‘Mopoke’. Next Friday is the Book Week
Parade beginning at 10am and LiL children will join classes for the parade.
A book prize draw will be held for each class and LiL
School Satisfaction Survey
Over the next two weeks all staff, Grade 5/6 students and parents/carers
will be asked to complete the annual School Satisfaction Survey. These
surveys contain questions on a range of matters about our school and
provide an opportunity for students, parents and staff to give important
feedback. This feedback is valued by our school, enabling us to identify
what we do well and opportunities for improvement. We encourage you
to participate and complete the survey so that the school has a clear
direction when planning future programs and services for students. Please
complete online or return your paper survey to the school office by
Wednesday 22nd August. Please contact the office if you wish to use a
school computer to complete the survey.
