A big thanks goes out to Nancy and everyone that helped out. Also a thank you goes out to B.H.S. Band members that served us, great job. Our month went very well, even with all the snow and cold days. We even had to cancel a Friday night dinner because of it. Hope everyone had a safe one and stayed warm. Lets hope we can leave all of it behind us. On Sunday the 18th there was benefit held in the hall for a seven year old boy with cancer. eir were a lot of people that came in to support him and his family. A thanks to everyone who helped out. e kitchen crew got a big work out in serving almost a 1,000 meals. at is People helping People that is what the Eagles is all about. THANKS! On March 8th we are going to have a benefit for the Fisher House which is a home away from home for vets families to stay while the vet is in the hospital. It does not cast anything for them to stay. ey are in need of funds, personal items, and kids toys for the little ones to play with. So lets have a big turnout for this one. FROM THE PRESIDENT

Brothers and Sisters, if you missed our New Years Eve dinner and dance you missed a great one. Our first ever sit down dinner was a big success, the meal was to die for. GUIDELINES1. Must be a Member in good standings for 1 year.2. Contact the Bemidji Auxiliary by coming to a meeting which are held on 1 & 3 Wednesdays of each month.3. Fill out a Services Request form. And return it in a sealed envelope to the Bemidji Auxiliary. All information

must be filled in. Must show proof of appointment.4. Once the committee has approved the Service Request form. You will be Notified by a phone call.5. AII Gas Cards will be issued from Holiday Gas Stations.6. Can only use program for Gas Cards two times a year unless otherwise.

Dear SistersJanuary is behind us and I would love to believe so is the cold weather, but that might be just wishful thinking. Welcome February, the month of Love. We will be creating special Valentine Bags for the Meal on Wheels again this year. Thank You Sherry Hadrava for organizing this.My Fundraiser for the Fisher House is fast approaching the event is scheduled for Sunday, March 8. We are going to try a “Wine & Beer Tasting Event.” There will also be a few craft tables, silent auctions and door prizes. All funds raised for this event will go to the Fisher House. I am hoping you can make it this will be a fund event!We would like to Thank Val Ahrens for organizing an event to raise money for the “Radiothon to End Child Abuse” We were able to donate $500. Val Thanks again for your hard work.If anyone is looking for a winter project we are looking for volunteers to make hats, mittens or scarves for the Beltrami Electric Cold Weather Tree for next year, we only have 4 volunteers at this time working hard. We would like to thank Lois Pfeffer for donating yarn & fleece. Thank Sherry Hadrava and her crew for making 289 Hats & Mittens for needy children this year. If you have any questions please call Sherry at 751-1662.Thank you to Bina Silverthorn and her clean-up crew for cleanup in January, Becky Miller has clean-up in February.
