CIRCULATION OF e-FLASH

Currently your e-FLASH is sent by normal e-mail but, because the service providers are understandably concerned about spam, these now have to be sent in small batches. This is very time consuming and even then many are blocked. Over the next few months the SPF intend to migrate all of your e-mail addresses to a database managed by Campaign Monitor. This company, who the PAGB use to distribute their e-news, will maintain the list securely and in confidence and will send out individual e-mails on our behalf giving a link to e-FLASH.

The list will only be available to the SPF. We will not allow any other body to have access to it and we will not give or sell the addresses to anyone – ever! We will use it only to distribute e-FLASH and any other information that the SPF decides will be useful. This may include occasional special offers and discounts for Scottish Club Members that we may negotiate with our Sponsors and suppliers.

As a recipient of e-FLASH you have agreed to receive such material from the SPF but, if you object to the new arrangements, please notify the Editor and you will be removed from the list. Please Note, however, that it is a condition of a Club’s membership of the SPF that there be at least one registered contact e-mail address, preferably the Secretary.

EVERY e-mail sent by Campaign Monitor will carry an “unsubscribe” link and you may use this at any time if you do not wish to receive future e-FLASH.
