CALENDAR DATES
We have been continuing our '30 Days Wild' activities in school this week.
Children from across the school enjoyed a mini-beast hunt on Monday.
We found all sorts of interesting beetles and bugs!
You can do a mini-beast hunt at home using these identification sheets
from The Wildlife Trusts:

If you do any outdoor activities at home, remember to send your child in
with photos or collected objects to share with their class.
30 DAYS WILD
Children’s reports will now be sent home on Thursday 12th July. This
date has been changed from Friday 6th July to enable staff to send Y6
SATs results with their reports.
SCHOOL REPORTS
KINGSWOOD RESIDENTIAL TRIP 2019
Letters have been issued to all current Y4 pupils regarding deposit payment and reservation request for this residential
visit for the next Academic Year. Please see sQuid and our letter of 12th June for full details. Deadline for payment of
the non-refundable deposit of £40 is Tuesday 3rd July 2018. Further copies of the letter are available from
reception, from the School website or via sQuid.
If your child will NOT be taking part we do ask that you let the school office know before the deposit deadline date – thank you! Y3 POOLES CAVERN TRIP – TUESDAY 26TH JUNE
Please note all Y3 pupils are required to register in school at 8.15 am on Tuesday 26th June. The coach will leave at 8.30
am and return by approx. 4pm. Please ensure you have advised school of the end of school arrangements for your child.
Packed lunch required.
Y4 ENDCLIFFE PARK VISIT – THURSDAY 5th JULY
Please see our letter of 15st June for full details – all Y4 pupils will require a packed lunch on this day. Kindly respond via
the slip at the bottom of the letter if you are able to help with this event.
SCHOOL MEALS
May we take this opportunity to remind Parents that school meal accounts should be kept in credit at all times and that
meals should be paid for in advance, not retrospectively.
Sadly if an account falls into debt the school may be forced to remove the pupil from school meals until all arrears have
been cleared and the account is in credit. Meals cost £2 a day (£10 a week). Payment in cash is also possible via the
School Office.

The leader at the local Beaver scout group
based at Fulwood is currently looking for
adult helpers for the Monday Beaver
group. Unfortunately, if no leaders can be
found, then the Monday Beavers will have
to close as there is only one leader to run
the group after the summer holidays.
Monday Beavers run from 5.30 - 6.30 in
term time.
