Crookwell Swimming Pool will open for the season on Saturday 2 November 2019 at 11am. Gunning Swimming Pool will open on Monday 4 November 2019 at 11am.

The season will conclude at both pools on Saturday 28 March 2020 at 6pm (subject to change).

Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman will be cutting the ribbon to officially open the

Community Connections and Pathway Project at Clifton Park.

The $112,189 project includes a new, solar lit footpath around the perimeter of Clifton Park

which links the outdoor gymnasium, children’s playground, skate park, cricket nets and new

toilet block. A wheelchair-accessible sheltered BBQ was also constructed by Council’s

Infrastructure Department

Media Release - Temporary Closure of bridge over Bridgy Creek on Jeffreys Road, Big Hill

Upper Lachlan Shire Council advises that Jeffreys Road

near Big Hill locality will be temporarily closed at the

Jeffreys Road Bridge over Bridgy Creek, from Tuesday, 5

November 2019 until Thursday, 12 December 2019. For

detailed program please visit Council’s website.

The road will be temporarily closed to enable contractors

to carry out the replacement of the bridge to allow load

limit restrictions to be removed.

Council’s Acting General Manager Andrew Croke said

traffic control will be in place and signposted to provide

information about changed traffic conditions while the road

remains closed. Council have advised emergency services.

All affected property owners have been advised about the

bridge closure and a letter drop has been arranged to

residents within the immediate vicinity of the bridge.

“Motorists are asked to observe all signage and drive to

conditions while the bridge is closed for construction,” Mr

Croke said.

“Council apologises to the community for any

Inconvenience caused and the bridge replacement will be

completed as expediently as possible”
