Blayney High Bulletin - Issue 21 . Term 4- Week 8 7 December 2018

Year 10 Dinner

On Tuesday 11th December we will be holding our End of Year 10 Celebration Dinner. Photos will be taken in Carrington Park from 5:30 and families and community are welcome to join us to see the students all dressed up. Following this the students and staff will be returning to school at 6:30 for the dinner to celebrate the end of junior schooling. We will also be farewelling a number of students who have been successful in gaining apprenticeships or entering the world of work.

The dinner will conclude at 8:30pm and all students will need to be collected from the hall at this time. There are no further school organised or sanctioned events following this time.

Final weeks

Lessons will continue through Week 9 with many fun activities planned as well as learning tasks and experiences.

Arrangements for Week 10 will be as follows

· Monday 17th - We will begin the day with our traditional whole school assembly to distribute academic, merit and participation awards for student achievements in Semester Two. Later that day we will hold the Talent Quest.

· Tuesday 18th – Tuesday will be the major setup day for Presentation Evening. Students may be involved

Wednesday 19th – There are no organised events on this day for students. Any student who are in attendance will help staff with the pack down of the school for the Christmas break.

School Reports.

School reports will be made live in Millennium on the last day of school with hard copies following in the mail.

While there is still time remaining in the year, this will be the last Bulletin for 2018. I will take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas Holiday. See everyone in 2019.
