TOPIC: PRAYER II Continuation
THE LORD’S PRAYER
In the previous lesson we looked at Mathew 6:5-9, andlearnt about Jesus’ rebuke and notion about hypocrites
and His emphasis on personal prayer. We continue thisstudy to see what prayer Jesus said we ought to say. TheLord’s Prayer is a powerful prayer used in many churchesas part of liturgy or as a model for prayer. Variousauthors have written a lot about the Lord’s Prayer andhow we can apply it to our lives. It is interesting that allthrough the four Gospels, Christ prayed for a number of things and summed it up for His disciples in what we call
today ‘THE LORD’S PRAYER’
