ISSUANCE OF BUSINESS PERMITS/

PLATES/ STICKERS Any person who shall establish, operate or conduct any business, trade or activity shall first obtain a Mayor’s Permit and pay the corresponding fees. The Permit must be renewed from January 2 to January 20 every year. Penalties are imposed after this period. Business taxes for new enterprises are based on capitalization. Application for new business shall be accepted on any working day from January 21 to December 31. Those for succeeding years are computed based on

percentage of gross receipts/sales or graduated fixed tax. Payment maybe made annually, semi-annually or quarterly.

-Conditional Permit. The PLO can issue Conditional Permit duly marked as “Conditional” covering applications for Business Permits, both new and renewal, in the case of lacking requirements for SSS, Philhealth & Pag-ibig Clearances only; provided however, that the Conditional Permit shall only be effective for a maximum period of 1 month or 30 days after the Conditional Permit is issued, within which, the applicant shall submit such lacking clearances within one (1) month period can result in the revocation or non renewal of the Business.
