• this religion considered as forming the basis of the cultural and social identity of the Jews

• Shabbat: The whole country rests, every shop is closed and all the soldiers come home to their families
• Rosh HaShanah: marks the Jewish new year. The people blow a shofar and have big meals with their families

• Very modest, loose, and has dark colors
• Shirts extend to the neck
• Skirts cover the knees
• Head covers are mandatory for married women
