• Published in January 2014, ISO 55000 is an international standard that is founded on the premise that the value of an asset is defined by how much it contributes to the achievement of organizational goals.
• It is designed to optimize asset value and decrease organizational risks through a comprehensive asset management strategy that is built around business objectives and goals.
