Main Objective ISCP: Conservation,Research & Education

ISCP ’s Board of Executive Director and staff, I am pleased to present a briefsummary of the organization’status /activity for the October and november 2015. Asexplained in recent monthly Reports October and november 2015 will show in tableat the end of this report .

The Monthly Report presents some highlights of the many Projects or activitiesacross the Medan-Sibolangit or commontly in North Sumatra province. in which weare involved. I will mention just a few and detail with Photo Documentation. We havebegun a research and monitoring project focusing on Poksai Project plus otherProject .And during year to year we add some project like Nias Hill Myna and nextplan project for slow lories. This is a project sponsored by Zoo Liberec ,ZooHeidelberg ,Kolner Zoo ,Ostrava Zoo ,Voegelparkviernheim at Heidelberg Germanyand be supported by BKSDA, Czech students,Local students and local individualsuch us forest guide and bird trappers. This project is noteworthy because it is ourfirst major study on this particular group of upland birds.Main project and Otherproject still try continues in trying developed by all ISCP Team in local and in abroadspecially from Czech supporter and others country which interesting involved.

- On 2 October 2015 Rudi meeting again to BKSDA consultationabout development MoU NHM (Nias Hill Myna) and plan forexchange trip the head BKSDA Northsumatra tobe change it tocash for MoU NHM after for sure BKSDA sign first the MoU.

- On 13 October Rudi sent the photo of NHM in the wild to Pak Tonisumampow Director of Taman Safari Cisarua Bogor by email inneeded apply for NHM make photo in Indonesia stamp at HCPSN(Hari Cinta Puspa dan Satwa Nasional) South Borneo thatselected by ministry of forest tobe approved by PresidentIndonesia Joko Widodo

- On 15 October ISCP print 36 Tshirst of ISCP that plan bring toCzech and Germany .

- On 17 October ISCP recruitment one new keeper for bird nameMuhammad Agus.

- On 19-23 October rudi flight to jakarta to manage visa to Ceko andalso visit IAR (International Animal rescue) for sharing and discussto Ibu Winar about slowlorires in ISCP and asking if possible IARmake workshop about Slowlorises trade in Medan specially atBKSDA .

- On 20-23 October Rebecca Coley and her team Marek go to Nias and makeshort documentary film to the wild Nias Myna and left money 600.000 IDR tolocal security to keep on secure the NHM from poacher and strange peoplecoming to the area.

- 24 October ISCP Make socialization and campaign about Poksai project ,NiasHill Myna and Slowlorises at Carefour supermarket in medan.

- On 30 October Rudi gave 3 pieces ISCP tshirts to the Manager Carrefour andstaff for make continuing cooperation if in future ISCP can be make freesocialization and campaign again at that supermarket.

MONTHLY REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 2014

- On 30 october Rudi flight to Czech and the visit germany to attendingTBCC,Olomouc Zoo,Ostrava Zoo,Liberec Zoo,Heidelberg Zoo,Kolner Zoo andVogelparkheim bird club Heidelberg until 21 November 2015. With TomasOuhel,Simon Bruslund and Tereza Svejcarova.At this moment we try to raisefunding for Nias Hill Myna in Germany and succsess manage by SimonBrushlund at Vogelparkviernheim Birdclub cummunities,Zoo Heidelberg andKolner Zoo ,First we got 4230 Euro : 2000 Euro already transfer to ISCPaccount and 2230 still left at CCBC account IN Czech that will send bact toISCP account on january.The rest on Kolner Zoo and Vogelparkviernheim willmanage later by Simon Bruslund update info.Plus also for slowlorises willmanage and explain detai by Frantisek Pribirsky what he already done forfund raise Kukang Project .

- On 24 November Rudi go to Head office Medan zoo (PD Pembangunan)meeting with to the Director in lobby find female golden cat in futurecooperation exchange with Heidelberg Zoo

- On 26 November Rudi manage first meeting in USU to preparing TBCCconference with Head Department of Bilogy USU and also to the studentsaccompany by Tomas Busina.

- On 27 November Rudi make meeting to all ISCP Member in sibolangitmanage plan program in ISCP attending by Tomas Busina,Novitha sari andMuhammad Agus
