• Ingrid van Heusden was influenced by Alexander McQueen before she even began training to become an artist.

• What Ingrid loves about McQueen’s work is that it evokes an emotion in the viewer.

• She likes that McQueen makes garments to make the woman wearing it feel empowered and beautiful.
