When you login to your ClearedJobs.Net Job Seeker account you’ll see your Profile Completion Meter.
Is yours complete? 90% is the minimum a job seeker needs for an effective job search.
To update, select “Click here to complete your profile”.
In the Profile Completeness box the incomplete items are highlighted in red. Simply click each one to finish.
Two elements of your profile are critical for Recruiters :
Resume
A recruiter wants a full picture of your accomplishments and work history.
Otherwise they have to contact you to get your resume…and that just isn’t going to happen.
Career Preferences
This is more important than you may think.
Reviewing your resume triggers certain federal OFCCP reporting requirements.
That’s why when recruiters are initially searching they typically scan your career preferences before looking at your resume to avoid an overabundance of reporting.
