What is a ‘traffic-film’?It is the greasy film that sets over the surface of all vehicles just by driving in the city or elsewhere. It is made up of pollutants coming from exhaust pipes and tarmac particles.

Why is it important to clean the rims?The dirt that builds up on rims comes from the black dust generated by brakes, oils and road tar. The surface shine fades away if rims are not properly cleaned, and rust may irreversibly damage them.

Why is it so hard to remove insects?All drivers know how dirty the car front can get during the hottest months. Insects and bird droppings are organic matter that dries very quickly and gets embedded into the bodywork and the windows.

How does a good prewash work?Prewash products are specifically designed to remove the traffic film, rim dirt, insect remains and bird droppings. Their high degreasing power softens up organic materials. They are applied in a first phase and work very quickly on any stubborn dirt, improving and boosting the cleaning effect of the mechanical action of the next wash step (either with brushes or with high-pressure water).
