Preamble Although it is not the goal to replace in person training at our training centers, the JATC in conjunction with IMPACT and the North Central States District Council recognizes the need to provide remote training to the members of Ironworkers Local 8. The online training courses offered in this training catalog is available as part of our Mandatory Journeyman Training program. Every hour of offered online training will count towards MJT and the cost of every class on completion will be reimbursed to our members through IMPACT. 1. The Member or Contractor contacts the Coordinator, Local

3. The member logs in fills out the proper information

4. User then pays with a credit card. “Print a copy your receipt it

will be needed for reimbursement.

IMPACT will only issue the reimbursement to the credit

card account used.

IMPACT will only reimburse for courses successfully

completed.

IMPACT will not reimburse for receipts more than one

year old.

5. Click-safety will send a password and link to the email address

provided on the application. This information will be needed

to login and begin the training.

6. Once a member starts the training FED OSHA limits 6 months to

complete.

7. Training can only be performed on PC or Mac operating

system.

8. All the standard breaks apply (member are limited to 7hrs

daily) clock resets at midnight.

9. (Note to applicant) Finish the current module you are working

on before pausing to prevent the system from restarting the

module at its beginning when resuming.

10. After completing the training, the participant will need to print

a copy of the completion certificate.

The member needs certificate to prove completion while

waiting to receive the hard card.

11. The member submits proper copies to the Local/Business

Manager. Proof of completion of the course (Copy of the

completion Certificate).

Proof of payment. (Copy of the Receipt or Redacted

Credit Card Statement)

12. The Local submits the documentation with a cover letter

approving the reimbursement signed by the Business

Manager.

Cover letter needs to be on LU letterhead and include the

Book number of the member.

IMPACT cuts a check sends it to the local Union hall to be

given to the member or sends reimbursement directly to

the Contractor when applicable.

13. The OSHA hard card is sent to IMPACT regional office and

then will be forward it to the coordinator for upload into the

IWATS system.

14. Then the hard card can be given to the member.
