3. 7. Introduction Ireland is divided into two parts : NorthernIreland and Ireland. Northern Ireland is composed of Ulster. The other provinces; the Connaught, Leinster and Munster, are part ofthe Republic of Ireland.

Blarney Castle is located in the town of Blarney in the County of Cork, Ireland.The castle dates back to the eleventh century. Destroyed in 1446, it was rebuilt by Dermot McCarthy, King of Munster.At the top of the castle, just below the slots of the dungeon is the "stone of eloquence". It is said that if you kiss the stone you are given the power of eloquence.
