The biggest component are fuel surcharges, which generally rise and fall with the price of oil. If they go up, EF has to pass the increase onto all travelers. If they go down (and they have in the past), then EF readjusts the balances so you owe less. Departure fees may go up and down before the tour and are finalized at 30 days prior to departure.
