Blarney castle, Rain and fog descend on the countryside surrounding Blarney Castle. While this fortress once defended royal inhabitants against Viking and Gallic marauders, it now houses a different sort of national treasure is the fabled Blarney Stone.

Physical Features

The Republic of Ireland covers most of the island of Ireland. Ireland shares it with Scotland, England and parts of the UK Ireland has landscapes that are usually surrounded by low mountain ranges Ireland has HUNDREDS of lakes!

Winters in Ireland a wet and mild but the summers are, cool. Ireland is often called, Emerald Isle because of its dampness and fog rain makes it look like a green emerald
