Cork is a city on the southern coast, in a picturesque part of the country. In Cork there is a famous summer camp ATC, which is on the campus of the University of Cork on the river Lee. The Campus, built in 1845, is striking for its architecture and size.

In County Clare there is quite an extraordinary place – the Burren region. It is many tens of miles of polished limestone caverns that extend in all directions, and the rare settlements along the coast. Irish Hills are a paradise for relaxation and leisurely walks, not only because of the abundance of an extended network of tourist routes, but also because of the opportunity to observe the beautiful lakes and rivers, coastal views and ever-changing picture of the sky, which is so characteristic of the Irish landscape. All within a few kilometers are indented coastline and quiet pastures, towering mountains and dark bogs.
