PERFORATION TECHNIQUE – DYNAMIC UNDERBALANCE (DUB)
Operational Limitations:
- Conditions to use DUB cleanup:
- Liquid in the wellbore
- Reservoir:
- Porosity > 12%
- Permeability: >1 mD for gas, > 10 mD for oil
- Pore pressure > 2000 psi
- Not in unconsolidated formations / sanding risk
Advantage :
- The DUB cleans perforation damage / plugged tunnels
