SD – SmartDriver: Dimmable control gear for LEDsources which has two connectors for as many

optional devices that modify the characteristics ofthe fixture. The first connector is exclusively for connection of the

Intelligent Opticom Photosensor. The second connector allowsinstallation of a Building Automation Radio module chosen from

the SmartDriver series. The third connector allows the connectionof the emergency Inverter LED Plug & Light. Alternative modules

that can be connected: DALI Module and 1-10 V Module.

Light that communicates with light – this is

the operating principle of the new Beghelli-

patented technology.

Opticom (OPTIcal COMmunication Techno -

lo gy), is an optical communication system

which can communicate, read and change

the performance and functions of each indi-

vidual Beghelli lighting device equipped with

a Smart Driver intelligent power supply, using

the flash and the camera of a simple smart-

phone.

This advanced technology simplifies and

optimises the work of installers, who can

programme lighting devices without any

additional equipment, using the dedicated

app which is available for free for both iOS

and Android systems. This solution also

brings significant added value for end users,

enabling them to control their lamps via

smartphone.

All SmartDriver Beghelli devices

equipped with the special intelligent

photosensor become Opticom Tech no -

logy devices, which can be used to

programme the intelligent photosensor in

order to manage the autodimming functions.

This can be carried out both in natural light

compensation mode (Natural Light) with

automatic reduction of the power of the

device, and in Dynamic Light mode, which

senses variations in light due to movement of

people and subsequently increases illumi-

nance. Using the dedicated app, each indi-

vidual lighting device can still be adjusted to

the most suitable power level, with just one

click.

SMARTDRIVER

The integration of the SmartDriver power supply marked a turningpoint in lighting systems technology, both in terms of the flexibilitythat this brought and with regard to potential increases in function-ality. This new generation electronic power supply enables energysavings of more than 80%. With the integration of the Opticom sys-tem, which features as standard on all SmartDriver devices, the pri-mary functions of each device can be programmed via the Opticomapp, which operates through the flash on a smartphone. TheSD Driver is specifically designed for industrial use (pursuant toEN 61000-6-2), and is resistant to overvoltage surges of ≤4 kV.

The SmartDriver system also allows to be integrated with addi -tional modules to extend the light configuration range. Thanks ofthe universal connector, SD fixtures are designed to meet themost important market requirements. It’s now possible to controllighting in a Beghelli wireless way, or to interface Beghelli productsin DALI or 1.10V standards.The automatic light regolation can be adjusted automaticallythanks of Beghelli patented algorithm AUTODIMMER (NaturalLight and Dynamic Light) or manually, using smartphone andOpticom Technology.

Wireless controlEvery SD fixture equipped with wireless module 15022can be controlled and monitored via central unit, app, soft-ware, locally and remotly. These system architecturedoesn’t need any additional cables or BUS (e.g. DALI). Forthis reason the Beghelli solution is suitable for new instal-lation, for renovations, and dynamic contexts. The Smartdriver modularity and all the possibility available as lightautomation offer the best choise for several kind of instal-lations and context.

Centralized lighting controlThe central unit can set every kind of requierd scene. Adifferent scene for every specific needs or place or situa-tion. Light scenes can be activated via software (controlpanel), via WiFi and dedicated APP, via scheduler or vialocal wireless interfaces wired to switches or sensors.It’s also possible via central unit to remote monitor andcontrol lighting.

Inverter Plug&Light:integrated top emergencySmart Driver allows the new Plug&Light inverter to be con-nected to every Beghelli SD fixture in the simplier andfaster way. This revolutionary idea is able to extend a SDlighting fixture in a Lighting and Emergency lighting fixureonly plugging a cable among inverter and driver.

Full compatibilitywith DALI and 1-10V systemsThe design of the SmartDriver allows information to beexchanged with other communication protocols such asDALI. DALI and 1-10V modules can be used with both theDALI and analogue dimming direct command interface.When luminares are interfaced in DALI or 1-10V, Beghelliautodimmer gets disabled.

Opticom smart photosensorAutodimmer Natural Light function

Each SmartDriver device can be equipped with anAutodimmer INTELLIGENT PHOTOSENSOR, which isused to automate the basic fixture functions: the illumi-nance is managed via the automatic adjustment of thelight intensity, in accordance with the light already presentin the environment, enabling energy savings which are upto 30% higher that those seen on LED devices withfixed light intensity.

Autodimmer Dynamic Light function

The new OPTICOM INTELLIGENT PHOTOSENSORTechnology, which is included on SmartDriver devices,reacts to the slightest variation in light resulting from themovement of people in the vicinity of the light source. Thissudden change in light activates a pre-programmed set-ting, activating the device at 100% brightness, for exam-ple. This status can be set with a programmable delay (of30 seconds upwards) in line with requirements, beforereturning to minimum brightness unless new movementsare detected. This unique feature allows the system tocomply with workplace lighting standard EN 12464-1, aswell as enabling additional energy savings of 20%compared to use of the Autodimmer alone, for atotal saving of over 85%.The Dynamic Light Autodimmer function is optimised formounting at heights of less than 4 m.

Opticom Technology interface

The Opticom Technology interface for programming andmanaging lighting devices. The INTELLIGENT PHOTO-SENSOR receives and transcodes the light pulses trans-mitted by the smartphone flash, and transforms these intoinstructions or commands to set all of the parameters forthe device. For example: in an environment with the lightlevel dimmed to 50%, the device can be changed to100% via the Opticom smartphone controller.

Continuous-row system with pre-wired modular track. A single sup-porting track is the basis for installing both the three-phase binary andthe specific lighting module, available with 7 different optics to meetmost lighting needs in small and large scale retail, offices and industrialapplications. The pre-wiring of the channel uses 7 poles: 3 phases –Neutral-Pet (earth) – Emergency lighting – DALI BUS. Every compo-nents is made of extruded aluminium with high-precision inserts andmechanical locking. Guaranteeing extremely quick installation, therange allows scope for every level of system complexity and any typeof continuous-row routing.The operation of the Opticom system requires a radio module andsmart photosensor, which can work either in auto-dimming mode ordirectly commanded via a smartphone to adjust the brightness intensitywith the exposed device. LED Rail System can also be controlled viaWiFi, thanks to the optional domotic control unit that also enables allthe operating modes envisaged by the Smart Driver (SD) protocol.

Atomic TOP LED is a luminaire of a new generation characterized bya very good lighting efficiency, which ensures the high comfort of illu-mination. Variable beam spotlight for indoor applications, particularly suitable in the retail sector and for exhibitions or shows. Body in die-cast aluminium with large LED source cooling flaps. This device can be installed on either tri-phase or single-phase electrified rail, and the trackadapter is mechanically compatible with the majority of commercially-available systems. The device is equipped with an optic with a beamaperture angle of 24° as standard, but optics with beam angles of 16°and 40° are also available on request.

FH70, FH150 e FH200 LED are fixtures of the latest generation ableto combine the advantages of the LED light source with state-of-theartoptic systems, as regards both performance and flexibility of applica-tion. The LED sources used, with very high efficiency, produceunprecedented lighting that allows the illumination of building façadesor hardstands, even at considerable distance. The diffuser has anample and uniform area of emission, allowing very low luminosity andtherefore reduced glare with high visual comfort. The excellentmechanical characteristics (IP66-IK09) allow installation in outdoorsettings even in extreme conditions, while the possibility of versionswith a symmetrical or asymmetrical beam makes the fixture particularlyversatile.The “square cut” design of the FH 70/150/200 LED allows movementsthrough 360°, on the axis of rotation of the goniometric bracket, thusenabling great flexibility of movement and mounting.Thanks to the “Autodimmer Sensor” accessory, the fixture works withintelligent dimming. To ensure maximum energy saving, self-adaptingtechnology is used on the sensor integrated in the fixture, toautomatically adjust the emission of light according to the reading ofthe natural light present on the work surface.A LED INVERTER is also available which transforms the fixture into anemergency maintained fixture, to light a section of the LED source inthe event of a black-out.Floodlight with a controlled beam to optimize the management of thelight emitted. Symmetrical and asymmetrical optics in a single fixture:the beam of light changes from asymmetrical to symmetrical by simplyremoving part of the optic.

The Strada LED combines architectural lighting requirements with theSmart necessities of the new smart cities. The range includes fixturesof the latest generation able to combine the advantages of the lowluminosity LED source with state-of-the-art optic systems, as regardsboth performance and flexibility of application. I. General ProvisionsThese General Terms and Conditions define the relationshipsbetween BEGHELLI-ELPLAST,a.s., registered office at Poříčí 3a,603 16 Brno, ID no.: 46347909 (hereinafter as “Beghelli-Elplast”),incorporated in the Companies Register kept by the Regional Courtin Brno, Section B, File 811, as the Seller, and its customers(hereinafter the “Buyer”) in the sale of products, goods, and servicesof Beghelli-Elplast (hereinafter as “Products”).

II. Priority of DocumentsIn cases of any discrepancy between the provisions of the individualdocuments defining the relationships between Beghelli-Elplast andthe Buyer, to the extent of their inconsistency, the documents shallhave the following priority:1. Ad hoc terms and conditions agreed individually for a given busi-

ness case and confirmed in writing by both parties in the relevantbusiness documentation (demand letter, offer, purchase order,purchase order confirmation, invoice).

2. Purchase contract or framework purchase contract if entered intobetween Beghelli-Elplast and the Buyer.

3. Special terms and conditions which form a part of the purchasecontracts or the framework purchase contracts between Beghelli-Elplast and the Buyer.

4. These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”).

III. Ordering ProcedureThe Buyer submits its purchase order in writing by electronic mail orfax. The purchase order must contain, among other things, a clearspecification of the Products, their quantities and the required deli -very date. The purchase order becomes binding upon its delivery toBeghelli-Elplast. Unless explicitly agreed in writing between Beghelli-Elplast and the Buyer in the documentation under article II hereof,any part of the Buyer’s purchase order which is in conflict with orotherwise inconsistent with these GTC shall be dismissed and shallnot become part of any business contract between Beghelli-Elplastand the Buyer.

Beghelli-Elplast shall confirm the purchase order and specify thedelivery date or possibly also the available quantity in writing byelectronic mail or fax. If Beghelli-Elplast is not able to confirm within48 (forty eight) hours the date of delivery of some or all purchaseorder items, Beghelli-Elplast shall at least confirm the acceptance ofthe purchase order with information on the estimated date of thesending of the final purchase order confirmation. Beghelli-Elplastdoes not have any liability for non-acceptance of the Buyer’spurchase order or any part thereof.

If within 7 days from the acceptance of the purchase orderconfirmation or within a shorter period of time, with view to theestimated delivery date, the Buyer does not express by electronicmail or fax its disagreement with the estimated delivery dates orsome other facts different from its purchase order, the purchaseorder confirmation becomes the only binding and final documentsuperior to the Buyer’s purchase order. Any changes in soconfirmed purchase order are only possible in very exceptionalcases and only after prior written approval by Beghelli-Elplast andmust be made by cancelling the relevant item in the originalpurchase order and issuing a new purchase order.

Where the estimated delivery date specified in the purchase orderconfirmation cannot be met, Beghelli-Elplast shall inform the Buyeron this fact within no later than 1 (one) day before the estimateddelivery date with specification of an alternative delivery date.

Beghelli-Elplast shall not in any case be liable for any loss of profit,operational loss or any special, consequential, incidental or punitivedamage(s) of any kind for the failure to meet the delivery datesspecified in the said purchase order confirmations.

IV. Product Delivery / AcceptanceUnless stated otherwise in the documentation under article II ofthese GTC, the Products shall be delivered EXW, Brno (location ofthe Beghelli-Elplast distribution warehouse or production plant). Thepassing of the costs and risks from Beghelli-Elplast onto the Buyershall be governed by the applicable conditions of Incoterms 2010.

At the acceptance of the Products at the time and place as per theapplicable delivery terms the Buyer is obligated to verify or haveverified the conformity of the delivery as regards types, quantities,completion and external damage. Unless within 7 (seven) calendardays from acceptance of the delivery the Buyer submits a warrantyclaim in the manner specified at the Beghelli-Elplast website or byelectronic mail or fax, the risk of insufficient quantity, incompletenessor external damage of the Products shall pass onto the Buyer—exceptwhere a due inspection cannot be performed without damaging thepackaging of the individual Products. In these cases the time limitfor the submission of such warranty claim shall be prolonged untilsuch time as the inspection may be performed for the first time, butnot for more than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the acceptanceof the delivery.

V. PaymentThe Buyer shall make the payment for the delivered Products withinthe time limits and to the bank account specified in the invoicesissued by Beghelli-Elplast. Regarded as the payment date is the daywhen the money is credited to the Beghelli-Elplast account.

Should the Buyer be in delay with the payment, Beghelli-Elplast maydemand the payment of late payment interest in the amount of 0.1%of the debt for each commenced day of the delay. Payment of theinterest does not affect the right of Beghelli-Elplast to the compen -sation of damage, if any, caused by the late payment. In the eventof the Buyer’s material delay with the payment Beghelli-Elplast hasthe right to cancel all of the Buyer’s remaining purchase orders anddemand an immediate payment for all its invoices issued to theBuyer regardless of their maturity. This shall not affect Beghelli-Elplast’s right to compensation of any related damage.

VI. Reservation of TitleThe parties hereby agree that the title to the subject-matter of thisContract shall pass onto the Buyer upon the payment of the entirepurchase price, while the risk of loss and destruction of the thingshall pass onto the Buyer upon its handover and acceptance. Untilsuch time as the purchase price is paid, the Buyer may not disposeof the thing as its owner despite being obligated to take care for thething as a proper manager and at its own expenses. If the purchaseprice is not paid duly and in time, the Buyer is obligated to return thething to the seller upon first demand.

If the Buyer resells the thing, depending on its specification, toanother party, the reservation of the title under this provision appliesfrom the moment of effectiveness of the sale to all performancesduly agreed and accepted or procured by the Buyer for the resale ofthe thing. In this case the Buyer is obligated to immediately forwardto the seller the entire performance so obtained or transfer onto theseller the title to such performance up to the amount of the obli -gation for the payment of the purchase price under the contract.

General Terms and Conditions

The return of the delivered Products because of their non-paymentdoes not relieve the Buyer from the obligation to pay for thoseProducts which were not returned, pay the difference of the value ofthe Products not returned in the same quality in which they hadbeen delivered and pay the entire late payment interest to whichBeghelli-Elplast has become entitled.

VII. Prices, Payment and Delivery TermsThe prices or other business conditions specified in Beghelli-Elplast’s price lists, promotion or other business materials are forinformation only and do not give rise to the Buyer’s entitlement tosuch prices. The price of the Product shall be determined byagreement of the parties.

The prices specified in the price lists are given without VAT and donot contain any recycling or other fees which shall, where requiredby applicable regulations, be invoiced separately.

Beghelli-Elplast reserves the right to change the prices, payment,delivery and other business terms in the event of sudden changesin the prices of materials, energies or other sub-deliveries and othercosts and facts which Beghelli-Elplast is not able to influence oravert. So changed prices or business terms shall be applicable to allProducts already ordered by the Buyer and confirmed by Beghelli-Elplast with immediate effect upon the delivery of the notice to theBuyer by electronic mail or fax. In such case the Buyer has the rightto withdraw from so affected and not yet delivered purchase ordersor any part thereof.

VIII. Exchange of ProductsBeghelli-Elplast reserves the right to change or alter at its own dis-cretion the technical specification of the Products or change theproduct range by stopping the production of some Products orchanging existing or supplementing new Products, provided thatsuch changes do not negatively influence in a material manner theuse, dimensions or life time of such Products.

IX. WarrantySubject to article VIII of these GTC, Beghelli-Elplast guarantees thatthe Products will have identical design and the characteristicsspecified in their technical and business documentation and be freeof any material and production defects, unless specified otherwisein the documentation accompanying the individual Products, for theperiod of 24 (twenty four) months from the day of the handover ofthe Goods to the Buyer (“Warranty Period”). After the expiry of theWarranty Period the Buyer loses the right to compensation of anydamage due to such non-conformities.

If any non-conformity of the delivered Products occurs during theWarranty Period, the Buyer is obligated to inform Beghelli-Elplastusing the procedure specified for that purpose via the Beghelli-Elplast website or by electronic mail or fax and do so within no laterthan 3 (three) business days from the discovery of such fact andgive Beghelli-Elplast the required information and assistance,including during the taking of the samples of the claimed Productsand their sending to the Beghelli-Elplast headquarters. If the Buyerdoes not inform Beghelli-Elplast within the prescribed time limit of 3days, all warranty claims and claims from defects cease to exist.

If Beghelli-Elplast accepts a warranty claim as legitimate, it shall givethe Buyer a remedy in the following forms and order:- repair of the defective Product or exchange of its defective parts;- replacement of a defective Product for a perfect one;- purchase price refund.

The decision on the form of the remedy is fully at the discretion ofBeghelli-Elplast depending on the technical, logistic and otherconditions. Beghelli-Elplast may also grant the Buyer an adequateprice discount if the Buyer agrees. The parties rule out the provi -sions of Section 2106 and Section 2107 of Act no. 89/2012 Coll.

Without a prior written approval by Beghelli-Elplast the Buyer maynot in any case send the claimed Products back to Beghelli-Elplastor delay or postpone partial or full payment of the invoices for theclaimed Product. The parties rule out the provisions of Section 2108of Act no. 89/2012 Coll.

The consignment with the claimed goods must be visibly marked bythe attached warranty claim number. The address for the sending ofwarranty claims is Rybářská 3, 603 16 Brno. The claimed goodsmay not be sent to be paid cash on delivery or at the costs ofBeghelli-Elplast.

This warranty does not cover any defects in the consequence ofusual wear and tear; accelerated wear and tear caused by specialphysical, chemical or electrochemical conditions; insufficient mainte -nance or incorrect repair; non-compliance with storage, assembly oruse instructions; use of unsuitable materials and tools or anydefects caused by consequences beyond the control of Beghelli-Elplast.

Apart from the warranties expressly mentioned herein, there are noother direct or indirect warranties exceeding those given herein. Theparties rule out the liability of Beghelli-Elplast for any loss of profit,operating loss or special, consequential, incidental or punitivedamages or damages of any other kind based on a warranty claimor otherwise relating to the Products delivered by Beghelli-Elplastunder these GTC or as part of the individual business casesgoverned by these GTC. The Buyer shall not grant any warranty,direct or indirect, in relation to any Product different from thewarranty granted by Beghelli-Elplast for such Product.

X. Force MajeureBeghelli-Elplast shall not be liable for any partial or complete non-fulfilment of its obligations under these GTC, in particular for anypostponement, delay or cancellation of Buyer’s purchase orders,even if already confirmed, in situations beyond Beghelli-Elplast’scontrol, including but not limited to:- force majeure, war, uprising, civil unrests, embargoes,

interventions of civil or military bodies;- changes concerning administrative, public health and medical laws

or regulations;- strikes, work-related or other stoppages of production;- transport problems;- fire, flood or other natural disasters.

In such events the Buyer shall not be entitled to the compensationof any damage, penalties or any other direct or indirect indemnity.

Similar situations give the Buyer the right not to take over alreadyordered or already produced Products, nevertheless, no suchsituation gives the Buyer the right not to fulfil its obligations fromProducts already delivered, in particular the obligation to pay thepurchase price for them in full and within the agreed deadlines.

Where the parties are not able to fulfil their respective obligations forsuch reasons, Beghelli-Elplast and the Buyer shall inform the otherparty of such fact as well as of the disappearance of their effectswithout undue delay.

XI. Governing Law – JurisdictionRelationships not regulated by these GTC or possibly otherdocuments under article II of these GTC shall be governed by:- where the Buyer is an entity under law of the Czech republic: by

the applicable generally binding legal regulations of the CzechRepublic, the provisions of Act no. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, asamended;

- where the Buyer is a foreign entity: by the United NationsConvention on contracts for the international sale of goods,Vienna, of 11 April 1980).

All disputes arising between Beghelli-Elplast and the Buyer that arenot resolved amicably shall be heard and finally decided by thecompetent court of the Czech Republic with local and subject-matter jurisdiction.

The Products included in this catalogue have been produced incompliance with the applicable safety regulations, primarily Act no.22/1997 Coll., on the Technical Requirements for Products,Government Regulation no. 118/2016 Coll., on conformityassessment of electrical equipment designed for use within certainvoltage limits delivered to the market (directive of the EuropeanParliament and of the Council 2014/35/EU) and GovernmentRegulation no. 117/2016 Coll., on conformity assessment ofproducts in terms of electromagnetic compatibility, when placed onthe market (Regulation of the European Parliament and of theCouncil 2014/30/EU), as all amended by later regulations. The CEmark placed on the Products, packaging or in the instructions foruse certifies the compliance with the above-named regulations.

The Beghelli-Elplast technical archive contains all the documentationproving that the Product was submitted to the tests for demon stratingcompliance. This documentation is available to the competentbodies for inspection, if required.

Beghelli-Elplast reserves the right to change the data contained inthis catalogue without prior notice.

All the products included in this catalogue are covered by thewarranty under the Beghelli-Elplast General Terms and Conditionsand under valid legal regulations.

Product safetyand European Standards

Environmental protectionROHS 2011/65/UE DIRECTIVEIn order to facilitate the recovery and recycling of electrical equipment and to prevent dangerous substances from accumulating in the environment, the European Community haspublished the ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive. Essentially, this statesthat:

Without prejudice to Annex 3, it is prohibited to place electrical and electronic equipmentfalling under the categories identified in Annex 1 on the market, namely those containinglead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybromi-nated diphenyl ether (PBDE) in amounts higher than those provided for in Annex 2.

In Italy, the Directive has been implemented through Legislative Decree No. 27 of 4 March2014.

WEEE 2012/19/EU DIRECTIVEThe amount of waste directly connected to electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is rapidly increasing, with much of this attributable to light sources.

The directive is primarily designed to prevent WEEE from being thrown into landfill orincinerators at end of life, causing a further serious impact on the environment.

Accordingly, Directive 2012/19/EU was introduced in order to implement a monitoring mechanism which includes the controlled management of devices at end of life, promotingthe reuse or recycling of these. Furthermore, the legislative mechanism promotes design andproduction concepts which facilitate the disposal of products, both with regard to disassemblyand materials.

Industry players from every stage of the marketing chain are called upon to make a contribution - some of these contributions are financial, whereas others involve actions designed to respect and support the spirit of the Directive (as well as to protect the environment).

In Italy, the Directive has been implemented through Legislative Decree No. 49 of 14 March2014.

THE MAIN OBLIGATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS

The manufacturer (to be understood in the broadest sense, essentially entailing companiesaffixing their brand to a given good or goods, and all those importing from third countries) is responsible for the costs relating to the end-of-life disposal of their products.

The consumer is asked to ensure that he/she takes an intelligentapproach to managing the product in question at the end of its life,delivering it to a suitably equipped facility or point of sale, or followingany other instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Beghelli has always been extremely sensitive to environmental issues, and is a founding member of the ECOLIGHT consortium.

Choosing products from companies that participate in voluntarywaste recovery and recycling initiatives is a responsible and environmentally-sound choice, and helps to protect the environmentand our future.

The products that fall within the scope of the WEEE Directive are identified by thecrossedthrough bin symbol, as mentioned alongside here.

PRODUCTS SAFETY AND EUROPEAN STANDARDSBeghelli products are constructed in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards,and no compromise is made with regard to foreseeable overload conditions or to the safetyof persons, domestic animals or property, provided that all devices are installed and used forthe purpose for which they are intended, under the environmental conditions provided, andare fitted correctly and maintained properly by qualified personnel.

Where applicable, products are manufactured in compliance with the requirements of Com-munity directives 2014/35/EU, 2014/30/EU, 2014/53/EU, 2014/30/EU, 2009/125/EC and2001/65/EC.The CE marking affixed to the product and/or packaging and/or any instructions for use whichaccompany the product certify compliance with the above Directives. Beghelli keeps its ownTechnical Archive containing the documentation which demonstrates that the product in ques-tion has been examined to assess compliance with these Directives. The documentation inthe Technical Archive is available for inspection by the competent authorities.

Products that do not fall within the scope of the EC Directives referred to above nonethelesscomply with the quality standards set out in the various regulations currently in force, as wellas those contained in Directive 2001/95/EC ("the General Product Safety Directive"), imple-mented by Legislative Decree no. 172/2004.
