Invitation to participate in the inaugural National Gelaskin Digital ArtCompetition 2008

Gelaskin is not just a product which is stuck onto any laptop, be it a Window'sNotebook or Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro or iPod, to beautify and protect themachine, but it is true Art digitally captured by artist around the world, each having astory behind the design.

Objective:

With this Gelaskin Competition, we would like to unveil the hidden artist in our midst.This is an effort to accentuates creativity within the student community in Singapore.

Registration

Registration will begin on 28 January and closes on 17 March 2008. 

No purchase is necessary to participate in the competition. To enter, please completethe online form available at http://www.gelaskins.com/ishopcomp/  The Competition

will span from 7 February to 17 March 2008.The closing date for the submission for the preliminary round is 17 March 2008 by1730hrs.

Shortlisted entries will be notified on 21 March 2008 via email or phone.

The final will take place on 28 March 2008 in iSHOP. TBA.

Theme: “Seeing in the eyes of the Beholder.”

The assigned topic is for the elimination round contest. For the final, the topic will be

announced on the day of the finals.

Submission:

All submission must be at least 300 dpi and 29.7cm x 21cm (A4 size).

Closing date for the submission is on 17 March 2008.

All submission must be in digital JPEG format (.JPG) and must be submitted in CDor DVD to your zone host school.
