INVITATION TO TENDERSuitably qualified Citizen Owned Waste Management Companies who are fully licensed and registered with the Government of Botswana are hereby invited to tender for the following:

395-E91968: PROVISION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AT ORAPA, LETLHAKANE AND DAMTSHAA MINES FOR DEBSWANA

Tender documents may be obtained from Debswana Diamond Company (Pty) Ltd, West Wing, Debswana Corporate Centre, Plot 64288, Airport Road, Block 8, Gaborone, Botswana, during office hours (0800hrs-1230hrs and 1400hrs-1645hrs) from Thursday 25th January 2018 up to 06th February 2018 upon production of proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of P1, 120.00 (inclusive of VAT).

BRIEFDebswana invites suitably qualified Citizen Owned Waste Management Companies who are fully licensed and registered with the Government of Botswana with experience in Waste Management (Landfill Management, Litter Picking and Waste Collection) for the PROVISION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AT ORAPA, LETLHAKANE AND DAMTSHAA MINES FOR DEBSWANA. Only Companies who can demonstrate experience in provision of services of a similar nature and scale are invited to tender. Companies should demonstrate they have previously completed services of a similar nature of the value of at least P10, 000, 000.00 (Ten Million pula) to be considered. This tender is open to all qualifying Companies irrespective of whether they are registered with Debswana or not. However we require Companies regulated by the Department of Waste Management & Pollution.

SITE VISITTenderers are required to attend the compulsory site visit in order to familiarise themselves with the Site, the scope of services and the conditions under which the Services are to be provided. The site visit will start at 1000hrs on the 08th February 2018. Tenderers are to meet Debswana representatives at Orapa Township Maintenance Boardroom, Orapa.

Tenderers are required to arrange their own transport and

accommodation (if required). Information regarding Security Clearance is a pre-requisite to entering Orapa Mine and application for clearance should be lodged at least 48hrs before the site visit date. Enquiries for Security Clearance should be forwarded to Pelaelo Maikaelelo at Tel no. +267 290 2699 or email [email protected] and should include name & surname, age, gender, Omang Number or Passport Number (for Non-Citizens), Country of Citizenship (for Non-Citizens).

Tenderers are further informed that, owing to the nature of the operations, there is a compulsory requirement to attend a SHE (Safety, Health and Environment). Please bring your own hard hat, steel toed boots, reflective vest, ear plugs and goggles.

All queries relating to location and time of the site visit should be raised before the date of the site visit.

BRIEF

Debswana invites suitably qualified citizen owned cleaning companies to provide cleaning services to all company facilities within designated work areas as specified in the Scope of Services including provision of equipment and material to suit the intended purpose. Only companies who can demonstrate experience in provision of services of a similar nature and scale are invited to tender. Companies should demonstrate that they have previously completed services of a similar nature to the value of at least BWP2, 500, 000.00 (Two and a Half Million Pula) to be considered. This tender is open to all qualifying companies irrespective of whether they are registered with Debswana or not.

SITE VISIT

Tenderers are further informed that, owing to the nature of the operations, there is a compulsory requirement to attend a SHE (Safety, Health and Environment), Security and Social Way Induction (induction). Please bring your own hard hat, steel toed boots, long sleeved shirt and pants with orange reflective strips (you may wear an orange reflective vest over a shirt), ear plugs and goggles.

Tenderers are required to attend the compulsory site visit after the induction in order to familiarise themselves with the Site, the Scope of Services and the conditions under which the services are to be provided. The site visit will start on the 26th March 2018 and finish on the 27th March

2018. Tenderers are to meet Debswana representatives at 0800hrs on the 26th March 2018 at Itekeng Community Hall in Orapa for induction before proceeding to site.

Tenderers are required to arrange their own transport and accommodation (if required). Security Clearance is a pre-requisite to entering Orapa Mine and application for clearance should be lodged at least 48hrs before the site visit date. Applications for Security Clearance should be forwarded to Reobonye China Abel who can be reached on Tel No. +267 290 2181 or email [email protected] and should include name & surname, Date of Birth, gender and Identity Number (Omang Number for citizens and Passport Number for non-citizens)

Tenderers are required to submit one original, one copy and one soft copy on USB flash disk of the tender to:
