Theme : INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTED RADIOGRAPHY

Meeting Synopsis

The Introduction to Computed Radiography workshop offers basic information about digital imaging specifically CR and the benefits of moving from film radiography into the digital arena. This introductory presentation will be of interest to those with an interest in moving away from film, people curious about digital imaging techniques and anybody who wants basic current information about Computed Radiography. The workshop will include a description of CR scanner principles, workflow similarities and differences compared to film radiography, discussion of basic digital image technology, techniques for image optimization, software tools and customer deliverables. The presentation will be followed by a practical demonstration of an ALLPRO NDT CR system, using the latest hardware and software.
