    INVITATION LETTER FOR THE CLASSROOM TO BOARDROOM CONFERENCE 2012

    Congratulations on your selection to attend The Classroom to Boardroom Conference.

    This is your formal invitation to attend the 2012 edition of the C2B Conference. The Programme is an

    initiative of the Intern Academy Foundation, a social profit organisation committed to youth development

    and empowerment in Africa. The organization has trained and placed over 300 graduates on internships in

    companies across the country, through its Graduate Internship Programme launched in 2009.

    This Conference is designed to help you jump start a successful career/business and put you on the cutting

    edge of an ever evolving and competitive corporate world. Some of the benefits of the programme

    includes but not limited to the following: a robust development and training opportunity, a multi-layeredsupport network, new business networks and friends, opportunity for career development and personalgrowth, increased employability ratio etc.

    The Conference is highly exclusive and you would be required to follow all the rules and codes of

    conduct for the programme. (Please find code of conduct attached to this invitation)

    Verification process starts at 8am on Thursday, 22nd of March, 2012 and ends at 9am.

    Date: Thursday 22nd of March and Friday 23rd of March, 2012

    Venue: Banilux Event Center, 2/8 Chapel Street, (Opposite Silverbird-Ozone Cinemas) off CommercialRoad, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos. Nigeria

    Formal Opening Ceremony, Verification, Media parley and speed networking Thursday, 22nd of

    March, 8.00am prompt

    Time - 9am 5pm Daily

    Dress Code: Strictly Formal (Dark coloured suits preferably)

    Things to bring with you: 1.Copies of CV 2.Business Cards 3.Copy of the bank teller (Except u are

    completing your registration at the venue)

    CODE OF CONDUCT

    CLASSROOM TO BOARDROOM CONFERENCE 2012

    1. Punctuality : You are expected to be seated at the stipulated times for the daily programmes.

    Doors may be shut after a grace period to avoid and limit distractions to facilitators and also to

    other participants.

    2. Dress Code : The dress code is STRICTLY FORMAL. Preferably with a dark coloured suit or

    blazer.

    3. Tags : You would be expected to wear your conference Tags all through-out the programme

    while you are on the conference site. You would not be granted access to main conference hall if

    you are not wearing your badge/tag.

    4. Orderliness : Youll be expected to conduct yourself in a most orderly manner as best as

    possible. We have made excellent arrangements to make your experience at the conference a

    most memorable one but in cases of unforeseen circumstances we ask that you act at your best

    and professionally. Please do not stand up or move around during sessions. Also do not chat norsleep during sessions. Avoid any behavior that may appear dis-respectful to fellow participants,

    guest or our valued facilitators.

    5. Courtesies: Our staffs are well trained to be courteous and professionalwe only ask that you

    give same in return. Please be courteous and polite to conference staff and fellow participants. Itis highly important for your effective networking during the conference.

    6. Breaks: There would be one major break time during each day of the conference. Refreshments

    are not provided but there are subsidized snacks and drinks made available on the conference

    premises.

    7. FeedBack / Evaluation Forms : Feedback forms would be distributed to you at the end of each

    day to evaluate the facilitators and the various sessions. Please do fill out these forms and return

    to the designated staff. It is very important to help us plan better next time and be more excellent.
