INVESTMENT BANKING INTERNSHIP 2015

Investment Banking. We are offering a total of 25 internship

positions per year within Corporate Finance, Leveraged

Finance and Danske Bank Markets. We are now recruiting

students to attend internships starting in January, March and

June. Apply before the 4th of October to become a full time,

full pay, valued member of our teams.

Five top-performing students in each period will have the

chance to experience a challenging internship, and a total of

five such internship periods will be held per year (two periods

in the spring and fall respectively, and one period during the

summer). As such, students have the possibility to choose

which period to attend in order to avoid collisions with course

workload, exchange periods abroad or similar. The length of

each internship program is approximately ten weeks.

We are f lexible in terms of internship structure and offer the

opportunity to e.g. complete two consecutive internships.

CORPORATE FINANCE

During your stay with us, you will get valuable insights into the

investment banking industry and experience the Corporate

Finance profession in cross-border M&A and ECM activities.

Your skills in financial analysis, valuation and strategic thinking

will be put to the test. You will gain valuable experiences for

your future career and increase your chances of a permanent

position at Danske Bank Corporate Finance following the

internship.

LEVERAGED FINANCE

At Leveraged Finance, you will be part of structuring debt

financings in support of private equity funds’ acquisitions

of companies together with one of the leading teams in the

Nordics on a product neutral basis, i.e. with the inclusion

of both loans and high-yield bonds including interim bridge

loans. As an intern you will assist, as part of a deal team,

in evaluating new financing proposals involving industry

and business analysis, financial modelling, structuring and

negotiating new transactions as well as preparing applications

to the credit committee. Financing is today an integral part of

getting a transaction done so your experiences will be valuable

regardless if you continue within investment banking or choose

to pursue your career within private equity or related areas.

DANSKE BANK MARKETS

In Danske Bank Markets you will receive a broad knowledge

of all products that we offer our corporate and institutional

clients. The internship also offers extensive insight into the

world of equities, DCM, fixed income and FX markets and your

analytical and strategic skills will be challenged throughout

the internship period. We hope your time with Danske Bank

What we are looking for

We believe you have a passion for working in a dynamic and ambitious environment, that you as a person are persistent,

independent and result oriented. You are on the first or second year of your master’s degree within business or economics. You

have a special interest in the financial markets in general. You possess strong numerical and analytical skills and you are a great

communicator. You perform well under pressure and can manage periods of intense workload. Of course, your English skills are

excellent, you are a quick learner and an avid IT-user.
