Chapter Funding Awards – The chapter funding awards provide a yearly stipend that helps student chapters host meetings and invest in K-12 outreach projects, and join scholastic competitions.

SAMPE Student Leadership Experience Award – This program sends student leaders to a North America SAMPE Conference and Exhibition to network with peers and industry professionals and increase their understanding of the industry. 

SAMPE University Research Symposium – This competitive program showcases SAMPE Students with outstanding research projects. The best papers presented are awarded prizes, while winners in the doctoral category are further sponsored to present their papers at SAMPE conferences in Europe and Japan. 

SAMPE Bridge Competition – This exciting & popular competition allows students to design, build, & test a miniature structural bridge using various composite materials in accordance with a set of well defined rules.

Graduation Upgrade – All student members receive a free one-year professional membership upon completion of their degree.

These important and popular student programs are valuable tools that help build a relationship between engineering students and the association. These programs require a substantial investment and we could not provide them without the generous support of our Corporate Partners.

Since its inception, the SAMPE Corporate Partner Program supported educational programs and competitions that

provide additional opportunities and value to our students that would not otherwise be available through traditional funding by the society.
