<< Investment attracion: Regional Investment Contract Piemonte is the only Region, in Italy, that offers a specific Incentive Program
dedicated to foreign investors, in order to support every stage of starting up and developing a new business in the Region. It is called “Regional Investment Contract”
What is the Regional Investment Contract? It is an opportunity for foreign investors to be assisted, supported and granted in
Piemonte It is a real contract signed by the Regional Government and the Investor that
provides guarantees for the investment It is totally managed by Local Authorities, that can provide solutions through a direct
negotiation It is a process driven by the Regional Government and shared with all the public
and private Entities that are strategic for the investment (Universities, Companies, R&D Centers, Municipalities, Local Authorites, etc)
It is the right way for the company to get guarantees on:

Supporting the Company in drawing the project’s guidelines, in order to define an eligible project
Linking the Company directly to the Public Authorities to define
strategic aspects (e.g.: employment impact, real estate impact, environment, etc..)
Pushing Universities, R&D Centres and local companies in
cooperating with the investor, supporting them with financial resources
Supporting the Company to develop the project and to realize the
whole investment

To be admitted to the R.I.C., the company can deal directly with Finpiemonte, the reference point for the Regional Investment Contract
After the negotiation, the company submits to Finpiemonte a formal application
The formal application results (within 90 days) in a CONTRACT that fixes
obligations for the Regional Governement and the Company, and guarantees the financial and administrative support for the investment
Finpiemonte supports the company to define the project’s details, involving other public entities and potential partners to create favourable conditions for the investment

CSA Abalioglu: Turkish Textile Company that develops research activities in new textiles, joining a local Company in the Textile District of Biella
AR Metallizing: Belgian company, leader in Europe in the sector of metallizzed papers that acquired a local hi tech comany, growing employment and activity (up to 120 employees).
IPP, first Italian company specialized in large scale and automatic sterilization of surgical equipment for hospitals: new plant, about 50 employees.
C5.6 Technologies: US Company specialized in enzimes for biofuels, that opened a R&D Center cooperating with a Large Local Chemical Group and the local University
A-27: large producer of gourmet dessert, controlled by the Swiss group Emmi Schweiz AG opened in Piemonte one of the largest italian facilities to produce gourmet desserts (more than 200 people)
Matica Electronics: German group, leder in the field of credit card printing, has opened a new R&D Center with more than 30 researchers in the area of Olivetti.
Syntesalloys: related company of a russian player in the field of industrial precious metals. New Production Plant employing more than 70 Human Resource
