Invertebrates are animals without backbones.
They are cold-blooded and warm their body by
absorbing heat from their surroundings.
Invertebrates are eukaryotic because they contain
complex structures enclosed within membranes.
Invertebrates are multicellular, which means that they
are organisms that contain more than one cell.
Invertebrates don’t have cells walls because they are all
animals and animals can not have cell walls.
Invertebrates can’t make their own food, thus they are
heterotrophic. They feed off other things to get their
energy.
