July 2020 Newsletter Dear Members,

Summer greetings sent your way in the name of God our Creator who made things so well.

The time of year has come where grass is in abundance for the cows, chickens, lambs, goats, camels,

water buffalo, etc. for which we and the animals are excited about. The animals are enjoying the fresh

air, warm sunshine and the tasty flowers, herbs, grass, etc. leading to a nutrient-dense and tasty, rich

food that we can all benefit from. The dark, yellow-orange color in the milk, butter, cream, etc. should

be noticeable. This is nature at its best. Let us treat ourselves with these life-giving foods including the

generations to come so they can thrive with healthy minds and great attitudes. Let us not forget to give

God thanks and glory for all things good. He will help us along if we trust and believe in Him and follow

His path that he provided for us.

Notice:

We need to have all meat inventory orders such as turkey, lamb, and goat in by July 30th. However, we

can hold the orders until August 20th in our freezer. So, consider planning ahead with what you can use

in that time. Each person can buy up to 75 lbs. of poultry, 27 lbs. of sheep, & 25 lbs. of goat. Now is the

time to stock up! We still have plenty of chicken necks & backs for stock, bone-in chicken breast,

chicken wings, chicken gizzards, and chicken tenderloin, which is similar to the boneless breast; Turkey

– sliced, smoked turkey breast,(sandwich meat), turkey sausage and ground turkey; also some ground

lamb & goat left. Chicken, turkey, lamb & goat is $1.00 off/lb. when purchasing 10 lb. or more, mix or

match. Goat chops - $2.00 off/lb. when ordering 5 lbs. or more. Must mention specials to receive

them.

If you prefer fresh, not frozen, meats, we have plenty of water buffalo meats available, all processed at

our farm. We also have plenty of nutrient-dense bone broth in stock. When placing an order for the

frozen meat inventory, please send a copy of a signed affidavit or a copy of your signed membership

contract. If you already faxed or emailed a signed affidavit, you do not need to include it with your

order. (Here are the links for the affidavit in PDF form or an editable Word form.) Only scanned copies

of originals, or the originals themselves, are acceptable for submission of affidavits supporting requests

to purchase frozen inventory. Photographs of the signed affidavits do not have sufficient contrast to be

machine processed for record-keeping purposes, and for transmission to the FSIS for approvals. Please

allow 4-10 business days for your order to be shipped. Please keep this meat inventory separate from

all the other items that you’d like to order from the farm. Send your meat inventory order to

eegroff@emypeople.net or fax it direct to the farm at 717-661-7572 with your signed affidavit or signed

membership contract form.

Please keep checking your email for updated inventory. We will be sending updates on the inventory.

We only have 4 more weeks until the orders need to be placed. Otherwise the USDA thinks they have

the right to destroy what’s left.

As many of you know, our coalition members where working tirelessly on our case and we have archived

our first Victory. We received our Inventory back that we are now able to sell again.

We need your help to claim more Victory. Elizabeth Rich, our Attorney, is currently defining our custom

slaughter plan to have our approval in place to soon continue slaughtering on our own farm.

Please help us pay for our mounting legal fees and support our cause.

PayPal account to help raise funds for our never ending legal fees.

FedEx is experiencing a large number of packages due to the pandemic, creating packages to be delayed

in delivery for a day or so. We at the farm see about 95% of them being delivered on time. About 5% of

them are delayed a day or so. FedEx or UPS do not guarantee their delivery services at this time. So,

therefore, we at the farm cannot carry that responsibility either. Shipping packages FedEx or UPS

Ground would be at the customers risk. Fed Express could be more reliable and the shipping cost is

higher. So, the better option is to see if we have any co-op delivery drops close to your location, and

picking up your food order there. This would be a better option.

We now have the ability to have your order paid with your credit card direct here at the farm.

If you have a larger order and you would like to fax it to us rather than calling us, you now have that

option. Our fax number is (717) 661-7572. If you would like to, you may call to confirm that we

received your order.

For damaged products we require you to call the farm within 24 hours of receiving your package so that

we can take care of it on our end. If we don’t answer, please leave a message. Otherwise payment is

due for the full amount. Thank you!
